I love the show Braindead, its a political comedy-drama where the characters are like "can a liberal and a republican ever fall in love 😳" meanwhile there are space ants exploding people's heads.
Its an awful show, so good. The ants love the song You Might Think by The Cars for an extremely silly reason, for some reason the ants are really sad about baby seals, and there's a scene where one of the characters beat up an ant-infected guy with a turkey leg. And the show all treats this so seriously 😭 i think by the end they were recognizing how silly all of this is
and then we love the recap songs
Realised earlier that my two most recent LPS customs can actually be a fantastic example of why "get better/more expensive art supplies" is weak advice bc the one I just finished I had far less problems with the paint & said paints were both cheaper than the ones I used for the other custom & had better properties for figurine painting (it's apple barrels & similar craft paint brands)
I feel like I just need to set aside time to write it down & figure out how I'm going to get this rant out bc I'm so tired of people making it about whether being rich makes you a good artist vs actually understanding the properies of a medium for troubleshooting & seeking the right ones
