Finally got that shiny Rowlet after a week and two days of constant mindless softresetting......it was worth it in the end. I'm glad to have my first ever shiny that I got myself, and I plan to add my shiny Ninetales that I got as a gift from someone special last year to my team. After that...I suppose I'll try my luck at shiny hunting in general? I kind of want to breed a shiny Umbreon or something.

SO!!! Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon are out and i thought it'd be cool to have a thread dedicated to chatting, talking about our adventures, arranging trades, etc etc!
i downloaded ultra moon yesterday and, like i did in sun, chose a cute popplio as my starter ^q^/ the rest of my team i'm still figuring out through wonder trade since poke bank isn't working yet o|-<

I keep running into pokemon i have never before seen in my life cause I don't know much beyond gen two (and even those are iffy) and tbh... It is kinda making me excited like the originals did. I'm all "I have NO idea what you are or what you evolve into! But I'm gonna find out!"
My local GameStop ended up selling Ultra Sun and Moon a day early so I bought it right away after my brother told me about it owo I bought Ultra Moon, and I'm currently just arrived on Poni island, though I want to do some Pokemon catching sidequests first before I continue on with the story because I want complete EVERYTHING. NOT LEAVE ONE SPOT UNTOUCHED. Also because I like taking things slow in games so it'll feel like it'll last forever. My team currently is OVO the Naughty Decidueye, Charlotte the Adamant Totem Araquanid, Skittles the Adamant Alolan Muk, Pancake the Timid Alolan Raichu, Marina the Calm Toxapex, and Aoi the Relaxed Alolan Marowak, but since I want to use other Alolan Pokemon, I'm thinking of getting rid of some of my teammates to make room for others. Like Mimikkyu, Vikavolt, Pallosand, Bruxish, etc. Also, so far, for some reason... I feel like I kinda prefer the original Sun and Moon games than Ultra Sun and Moon ;w;
Also... Rotom is starting to get annoying because of the useless advice that no asked for... But I still enjoy interacting with him.
Already played the game thorough- it was a fun ride and honestly I'm going to keep playing despite already doing all the end game stuff. Currently rocking my team of Modest Primarina, (Aquwari), Adamant Mimikyu (Umbra), Jolly Dusk Lycanroc (Eventide), Adamant Type:Null (Imperio), Brave Noivern (Treble), and Rash Liligant (Persephone)! Noivern and Liligant arent the natures I'd like for them, but they do their jobs pretty well! Liligant for sure has been simply killing with the QD Leaf Storm combo, and dang if that girl doesn't land critical after critical and always managed to tough out kill hits <3
