KaffeeWisteria yeah this is a pretty good place to ask in indeed, it’s praiseworthy you inform yourself so well~ There’s no order of who can ask who for freebs, some people are announcing they give away freebies, and you can ask them. People who post to ask for freebies themselves most often aren’t giving away freebies, if they don’t announce they are, then don’t ask them. That’s pretty much it~ Have a nice time around!

Does anyone know what FCFS means? I think that's the order that they go in, but still, it's on a lot of people's folders and characters and I couldn't figure it out. Thanks for any help! :D
UglyBagels it means first come first served, basically whoever comments first gets it first!
brendalee95 Everyone judges WTAs differently, I’m sure some people just look at the amount of words but in my experience it’s the content that wins. People often add as info in their wta that quality>quantity to avoid that kind of funny business. I have won sometimes with a paragraph when other entries were like 3k words. Though if it’s about having the same kinda idea, then it’s probably that the person who copied seemed to have developed it more, if it seems like the person has more ideas and time to put into writing for a character that might play in. Besides, retaking an idea but adding a twist to it or doing it differently doesn’t mean it’s copying, many stories have the same story but wildly different execution. Being similar and blatant plagiarism are two different things though, I don’t have the exemple so I can only assume which one of those it is. In any case, if you see plagiarism happening, or even if you feel like a judge has made a bad decision, you can try discussing it with them, at your risks of course. (Many people would not take it kindly)
Hope this kinda helped! It always suck when you feel like a wta has been judged unfairly, but hey it’s not the worst problem to have and we can only hope the character gets a loving home!

Heya, I saw this post in the FB and was curious, are we allowed to advertise trading like this in the bin since it's not free, they're asking for art of their characters?
Baba we're not, though some people consider DTA as being any doodle of any of their chars and we mostly let ppl do & believe what they want in those cases. This particular one sounds worse since it sounds like it's supposed to get many entries and I find that super exploitative esp in a freebie context, I kinda wanted to call them out on it but I'm rlly not in the mood to argue rn so I'm choosing to sit & wait.
So to answer your question properly, no, we can't advertise trades in the freebie bin except if you're also offering freebies, it's all written in the rules of the thread.
