Human.net is a secret server for monsters (and sometimes humans pretending to be monsters) to meet other members of their kind and talk about their experiences as they try to blend in with society.
With very little lore and care taken to preserve immersion, Human.net is designed to be comfortable and accessible to all kinds of roleplayers.
All ages and skill levels are welcome!
For the sake of balancing, the character creation screen can only be accessed temporarily with a special role.
(This is to prevent people from changing their roles anytime and gaining access to any Hangout they choose)

I'm interested, but I do have a couple of questions:
1.
I was actually considering this, specifically elementals.
I tried to think realistically about the kinds of Monsters that would have access to / ability and desire to use a computer.
(I had a funny thought about a fire elemental melting a laptop...)
It might work for example if a elemental had a human form, or was able to construct a disguise, or was curious about what it was like for other species.
There is also the possibility of a elemental hybrid so I will add them to the list regardless.

Yes and No
The very loose lore is that server is only known to otherworldly beings, sort of like a cult or a secret society. However, it is possible for humans to infiltrate it.
This limitation is only so the majority of RP stays between non-humans, but it does open up the opportunity for certain kinds of humans to fit in well.
Accidental hacker that stumbles onto the site and has to play it cool? A vampire hunter disguised as a vampire to gather intel? Just some goth looking to become a werewolf?
There are a few good possibilities.

IC and OCC are in separate channels within the same server yes!
This is purely for the sake of immersion and it turns out it is super easy to hide the OOC channels by minimising it into a decorative border.
Thanks to Discord it is a lot easier to ping people with OOC stuff without it making an impact on the roleplay!
Permissions are a little easier to show than explain.
Since a few people have taken an interest I will update the original post with more in depth stuff (Role permissions, hangouts, human discover etc.) once I get back from work!

are there age limitations or writing limitations ? what are the requirements to join the server, if there are any ?
At the moment there are not too many limitations, the reason I opted this Meta Discord format is because of how accessible it should be for most people:
- People are welcome to write in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd person.
(A roleplay within a roleplay omg)
- In-Universe there is no age limitation as long as it remains within the realms of reality and decency.
(No toddler is gonna be able to gain access to a Discord server afterall)
- There are some small caveats regarding Human roleplayers that I am currently listing, but it is not much more than 'Don't immediately declare yourself a human'
- A weird limitation but I will bring it up regardless, the IC channels will only allow server emojis.
Just that I think it would be nice to have a consistent thematical style.
(This is probably a dealbreaker to someone)
Requirements for joining are also fairly lax
- SFW and NSFW will be split up respectively, like any other Discord sever.
- New and seasoned roleplayers are welcome too.
- The only real red flag is probably disallowing minors to RP Incubi / Succubi, their species hangout is NSFW by default,
However, I plan on hiding the RP behind OOC walls so this sort of stuff can be screened beforehand.

Absolutely! I do not see why not.
I will be adding a 'Demihuman' role that will slightly differ from hybrids,
Whereas hybrids are combinations of different monster species, demi-humans have that added human aspect.
(I suppose this also allows kekomimi, nekomata and stuff like that)
If there are lots of members of a certain sub-species that join, I also see no reason that they cannot have their own species specific hangout added!
(There will be an In-Universe way to suggest the addition of groups! They all have their own little names and everything too wheee, please bring your gorgon friends)

Given the format it just wouldn't work to play 2 characters at the same time. With a little bit of creativity it may be viable but otherwise it is just bad for immersion.
That is not to say that you can't have multiple characters.
I am setting up a way for people to be able to switch between characters, but it will require reselecting roles each time and it will have a short timer.
Having character changes on the fly would defeat the purpose however.
Can you elaborate?
The RP is not about human discrimination, and would run with or without the inclusion of human characters.
The option only exists for some extra flavour, and for people who would be interested in playing that kind of character.
