But seriously there needs to be like a place we can submit Testimonies or something on the front page to make non-members freak out about getting in, where we can gush about how amazing the site is UGH just so beautiful!
on the todo list in very rough order of priority:
- Authorization levels - kinda done, but still looking for ways to improve

- Fix thread notifications links to take you to the latest page... Actually I should have it take you directly to the post, I was too lazy when coding this and it's gonna be a pain in the ass to change now

- Watermarked thumbnails needs to be looked at, I'm not really happy with it atm..

- I should just outsource the front end to a proper front end developer
- Fix how images teleport when you try to drag one that's at the end of the row
Features I'm thinking about and welcome suggestions for:
- Anonymous comments (if I do throw this in you're still certainly going to have to be logged in so the recipient can report malicious content if necessary)
- Allowing for fandom/canon characters
- World chats - just mulling it over right now...

A way to change our usernames would be nice! I just defaultedly used my dA username but now I've subconsciously been thinking up other, better usernames.... ;v;

idk why but the character page in profiles seems so difficult to navigate (compaired to the rest of the site which is a dream). maybe there could be an option to just have all the folders we have always visible along the top? so whenever we go into a subfolder we don't have to go back to unsorted or w/e we set as the parent, then down to another subfolder again? i mean we already have a 'view unsorted' and 'view all' so idk if we need to have a 'return to parent' thing anyway. anyway that's the only thing that i've noticed that's been bugging me! thank you again for the amazing site o u o b
I'm not sure if this was mentioned (I try to read all the posts but I might have missed this) but maybe being able to subscribe to a specific board in the forums? For example subscribing to the announcements board just so we don't miss anything, or being able to subscribe to the art marketplace so that those looking for new art will know when somebody is offering it when it's posted?

a search function for worlds and a random list of worlds on the homepage as well as characters.
As for the fandom/cannon character thing. I think allowing fandom is fine sense its still semi orginal sense it has the creatures own flair to it as oposed to a canon characters
CaptainTigglesworth Um, I suppose that would be useful but isn't it just easier to check the boards? Its not like the boards move very fast right now, and on top of that it would generate a lot of notifications. You can subscribe to indivudal threads though.

@Am1cable Yeah, linking to forum posts is in the works. As for your second suggestion...what the character page looks like right now is not final. I can't make promises to what kind of changes will come, but I think stuff will def. change as we smooth out tags/search/organization/etc.
minsu Oh, I know about being able to subscribe to specific threads. If it worked like that with the ability to unsubscribe, it wouldn't be as bad. I just meant that it would be useful for times when you want to be notified of everything that's posted. You're right though, the boards aren't moving very fast right now, and once they do, it would be a lot of notifications. It was just something I thought of as it's something I've used on other forums, but I can easily make do without it, so no worries. x)
Just to follow up with my previous suggestion to request ownership to images. I just realized if someone has their PMs/comments shut off now there is no way to contact them if they haven't credit your art (especially if you don't know who the person is who has the design, if it has been traded around). So I think it may be a good idea to be able to request credit for art. Possibly! I just realized surfing around today, I don't know if you need screen caps for that one.
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned but is there a way you could allow for your account to be logged in on two devices at once? I noticed that my phone and PC both automatically keep my account logged in but if I log in via my phone it logs me out on my PC and vice versa.
Edit: Another not-so-important feature that might still help would be real-time notifications maybe?
It's not a massive problem but it would save a couple of minutes here and there!
