I'd really like an option to put a single character in two folders, like if a character has a feral and an anthro form, or something like that.
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't find this feature necessary? We have tags. And can also make custom folders out of that.
Or let's say you want to have a character in folder world X and feral. You can do that. With content in folder descriptions. Might take a little longer than just putting characters in a folder but it's absolutely possible. So I don't think this feature is that important tbch
seems like I’ve +1ed this in both 2020 and 2021 LOL - anyways this is definitely necessary, probably the site feature I’m most passionate about adding!!! all the arguments against adding characters to multiple folders fall flat, folder descriptions and tabs are not adequate alternatives at all!! for one it’s ridiculous that we even have to make a completely identical clone to our character as a tab solely so they can fit in multiple folders. and I should not have to say “hey, this character that’s really vital to this story can’t be in this folder because they are already in another story” in the folder description, especially when it would completely ruin the look and feel of the description. it messes up the entire layout, people probably won’t even see the link and it’s just more logical to be able to put the character in the folder LOL. it’s a slightly better alternative than tabs, but it is not a suitable fix to the issue, FAR from it.
tags can be helpful in some situations, alongside making worlds, but there are many things either of those cannot fix like characters being from multiple different stories.
