Separate Roleplays From World Forum

By this I mean, I think discord roleplays should be advertised in a separate forum from the "Worlds" category. 90% of posts there are for discord roleplays, not worlds, and this makes it incredibly difficult to find actual TH worlds to check out or look at. I find more worlds by using the search function than I do by using the forum which is odd considering that the "Worlds" forum is made specifically for worlds.

Please create a roleplay advertisement space separate from the world advertisement space so worlds can be seen and not buried under discord RPs.

came looking for this. i browse the forums regularly, and for a long time i've avoided the "worlds" forum out of some kind of habit. couldn't remember why, decided to give it a look

every single thread, bar none, that i looked at was in fact a "join my discord server" advert. pages of threads, some of which literally have the word "world" in the title, some of which even contain a link to a world on toyhouse (which has like two pages, and all of the details there are just a more verbose wording of what's already in the thread anyway), and right at the bottom of this longass, detailed thread which explains the intricacies of the setting, join my discord server.

oh yeah that's why i don't look in the worlds forum. it is literally not used for worlds. it's used for discord.

at this point i actually think toyhouse needs TWO new categories: "roleplay on toyhouse" and "roleplay off-site".

why did the worlds category become the go-to for advertising discord servers? i just wanted to see some cool worlds.

ngl every category is used for discord shit. it should get it's own subforum called "discord" lmao. In all seriousness tho, yeah, Roleplay needs it's own forum, which was suggested before. Since we got a Fav 4 Fav in the past, getting another is not impossible. At least more likely that most other suggestions being made.

True, I just feel the worlds category suffers from it the most, 99% of threads don't even have a world, and if there is one, it's literally one page that explains what the RP is then says to join the discord to join. It's not being used to advertise worlds, and as someone who is interested in seeing those, it's kind of frustrating to only be pushed to join a bunch of discord servers when I just wanna look at world.
