Vamp!Ray- Classy lady, fashion designer, imports her blood cause she doesn't like a mess
Turing is a very old vampire who operates mostly via seduction. She loves the vampire life and is happy to turn others and welcome them into it!
Local (Xe doesn't have a vamp toyhouse yet) was formerly a violent, dangerous vampire and is now one of Jones' (successful?) experiments. The scientist has managed to prevent xem from processing blood but left few other options (sugar....water....?); xe's now low-energy and weak.
August (He doesn't have a vamp toyhouse yet) is a human linguist interested in the old country's strange dialect anomalies. He does not know that immortal creatures might actually live here and might be skewing the way language shifts, but he HAS noticed this place has some very cute boys who leave him weirdly dizzy and fuzzy the next day...
Andrea is an exasperated human linguist whose magically-gifted Competence and endless energy is offset by magical Obligations that require her to fill the Needs of any and all vampires that she meets. As you might guess, this involves fairly frequent chomping. Whatever. It's fine.
