Welcome to Nidea - the versatile world of the Calamies, filled with magic, fantasy... and puddles to bathe in! Nidea has two continents - one being unknown and the other one being E'nula. Filled with hot deserts, tropical islands and multifarious forests, E'nula is home to all four Calamian tribes - Air, Sea, Forest and Fire. If you're eager to know more about the marvelous world of the Calamies, keep on reading in order to dive right in!

××× Significant Locations ×××

× Big Trees - Nidea's Giants ×
One of the most impressive locations on E'nula are the Big Trees (also referred to Arboria by the Calamies) among the continent with Sola being the smallest one, and Maioria being the largest one. All of those trees are thousands of years old and are inhabited by the Air tribe only, with just a few exceptions of some Sea- and Forest tribe members being allowed to live on the trees. All Big Trees, except Sola, are surrounded by forests big and small, which are inhabited by the Forest tribe. What's also very special about the Big Trees is that it's the only place where Animavi, a rare plant that is used in alchemy has magical healing powers, grows. The petals of Animavi can come in three different colours - purple (the most common one), yellow and cyan (the rarest). The petals of the plant glows in the dark, if the air is clear enough, you can see the lights at night from far away.

Maiora (19.8 km)
Maiora isn't only the largest and oldest, but also most populated Big Tree, as it's inhabiting thousands of Calamies. While Maiora belongs to the Air tribe and is inhabited by mainly them, it's not uncommon to meet members of the Sea- and Forest tribe there as well. While Calamies of the Sea tribe are known to work as alchemists or medics upon Maiora, many Forest tribe Calamies strive to serve in the Air Force to restore their tribe's pride and bring peace to the Calami world. Although the forest surrounding Maiora grows incredibly large trees, it is only the second largest forest.

Inera (17.5 km)
Inera is the second largest Big Tree and surrounded by the largest mixed woodland among Nidea. What's special about Inera is that Calamies not only live in treehouses in its crown, but also in larger holes within the trunk - and all that without harming or killing the tree, similar to woodpeckers. Calamies of the Air tribe who are located on Inera are known to be more down to earth than their fellow tribe members and work hand in hand with the Forest tribe located beneath them. As they've specialised on agriculture, lots of nourishment comes from Inera. In addition, the forest surrounding Inera accommodates ancient shrines and monuments, which is why it awakens the interest of many history students.

Aquam (13.7 km)
Due to its influence of the Sea tribe, Aquam is the place all alchemy students dream of, as it accommondates the largest university for alchemy and science among Nidea. In addition, this place is blessed with many natural resources you can't find anywhere else. Because it is so close to the west coast - the main location of the Sea tribe - 34% of Aquam's population comes from said tribe; thus making it the Big Tree with most Sea tribe inhibitants. The rest of Aquam's population is 4% Forest tribe and 62% Air tribe.

Silvae (9.9 km)
Being surrounded by the largest forest on E'nula, home to the majority of the Forest tribe, it is no surprise that Silvae has the most population of Forest tribe members among all Big Trees - 17%. That might not sound much, but considering the hierarchy of the tribes, that's actually very impressive. Silvae contains several smitheries with the most skilled craftspeople - all of them being from the Forest tribe. It's also located neraby the largest mountain on E'nula, therefore they also have access to many rare ores you can barely find anywhere else.

Palis (5.8 km)
Palis is located by the fjords of E'nula and is the second smallest Big Tree. Although some may perceive Palis as obscure due to the small size of both the Big Tree and the forest surrounding it, it is actually known to have the strongest and most fearless fighters; making them a important impact on the Air Force. Something uncommon and special about this Big Tree is that the Air tribe members allow several renegades of the Fire tribe (basically Calamies who are against the political attitudes of their other tribe members and don't want to be involved in the war) to live there among members of the other tribes. It is indeed frowned upon by the Forest tribe, but as Palis contributes a lot to the safety of all Calamies, they accept it.

Sola (3.2 km)
Last, but not least, there's Sola. While it might be the smallest and least populated Big Tree, its history is considered to be one of the saddest. The forest surrounding it was burnt down by the Fire tribe 92 years ago, as they wanted to occupy the Big Tree to finally have a place to call home again. The Air- and Fire tribe do, however, have rather different opinions and ideologies, which is why the Air tribe attacked them, causing the Fire tribe to burn down the forest surrounding Sola out of despair. This didn't only cause the war between the Forest- and Fire tribe, but also meant that the Fire tribe's hope to have a place to be was shattered once again.

Nowadays, there are only a few hundred Calamies of the Air tribe living upon Sola. It is suspected that the Fire tribe is located somewhere between Maiora and Sola, making plans about how they can fight against those who tried banishing them ever since.

× The West Coast - Songs Of The Sea ×
As you can see on Nidea's map, there are many little islands in front of the west coast, which are all inhabited by the Sea tribe. The waters surrounding them are pure and crystal clear, with uncountable species of sea creatures - harmless to the Sea tribe, dangerous to those who underestimate what dwells beneath the surface. In cold winter nights, it is possible to hear quiet sounds, similar to the noise whales do. As the Sea tribe is very spiritual, they believe that those sounds are the ancient voices of all Calamies' ancestors; thus calling them the songs of the sea.

××× ??? ×××
There are secrets carried by the wind of the Northen pole. With vibrant lights dancing above the land of ancient legends, subtle whispers reciting the rhymes of a forgotten song. The tones, in the rhythm of  the ice spikes, singing about the mystery hidden within the land of ice.

××× Magic ×××
Last, but not least, let's talk about the most exciting part - magic.

While Calamies aren't capable of using magic in the sense of spelling casts, it is possible for them to craft magical potions such as healing potions, potions that allow them to hold breathe underwater or be immune to fire for a limited amount of time etc. Because it is greatly difficult to craft such potions, they're not easily accessible to everyone, as first not many alchemists have the skill level to craft them, and second the ingredients necessary for strong effects are extremely rare.

As Calamies aren't the only creatures among Nidea, they're actually a few magical creatures living among them, such as unicorns, spirits and small dragons (approximately in the size of cats and they're very rare).
