You're wandering through the market of Aquam, a place known for its expertise in alchemy and science, when a fairly small, mysterious looking cottage draws your attention. It's dark inside, but something tells you that it's not abandoned. Considering that no one else seems to pay attention to it in such a crowded place makes you doubt whether or not you're the only one who's able to perceive its presence. You cannot resist the urge to go in, as your feet carry you closer to the entrance. You take a deep breath, embracing the scents of various sources, before entering the door.
Within seconds, the voices of the crowd outside fades, and you find yourself standing in front of a wooden counter, potions, herbs, old books and documents scattered around the room. Not knowing where to look first, as this place was full of things you've never seen before, a soft voice gently draws you attention.
"I've been expecting you. And I possess what you've been looking for."
Moving your gaze back to the counter in front of you, you spot a feminine looking person standing right behind it, shrouded in black, half of their face covered by a black hood with golden embroidery. You cannot remember ever speaking to that person before, but ere you can dwell on it any longer, various potions appear on the counter in front of you...
Sparkle Potion
A small vial crafted with the white sand from the shore near Aquam, filled with a liquid that makes you feel like you're watching the night sky. Without knowing anything about the mysterious potion, you are convinced drinking it won't cause any harm.
This special item allows you to upgrade one trait on your Calami for a one-level rarer alternative. One Sparkle Potion allows you to upgrade one trait only. Thus, if you want to upgrade three traits, for example, you'll need three Sparkle Potions.
Price - 2 500 CC
Phoenix Potion
Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, drinking this potion will give your Calami a new appearance. That is, however, as long as they're still somewhat recognizable as their old self.
This special item allows you to redesign your Calami up to 50% - you must stay within the rarity of the original design, however. After redesigning your Calami, you'll have to get it approved once again.

Mutation
We all know how Calamies are put together - a pair of wings, legs, arms; and while some Calamies are missing some of that features, there are some characteristics beyond any explanations. Calamies commonly refer to those unusual traits as "mutations"; however, it is not unheard of for them to be called "blessings", especially when refering to magic-related traits, like halos. Although magic exists in Nidea, Calamies do not possess magical powers, what makes some Calamies believe that those traits are blessings from the Deities of Nidea.
This special item allows you to give your Calami a Mutation trait, unless specified. All Mutations can be found here.
