His species doesn't have eyes, they use their tongues+scent for a lot of tactile stuff and to get around.

My demon, Ozehronneth has no eyes! I mean...sorta obvious when you have horns growing out your eye sockets. XD His sense of hearing is very acute and his sense of touch is also sensitive. But you don't really need either of them when you have the ability to see the souls of those around you. ^_^;;
To some extent, Geneva doesn't have eyes, although she copes well without them, using a semblance of an eye from the anchor core, which illuminates the path.
