A non-SU OC with a gemstone name!
I really liked the name "Crystal" when I was younger, so I made a list of names I liked, and decided on Crystal for her!
I named Aquamarine after the gemstone! Also cause im like 70% sure at the time I mixed it up with Aquarium, English is hard.
My precious little man Jasper!! He's been my longest-running D&D character and his name was simply because I needed a spunky name that fit a cryptozoologist (who I based off of a bird that I fostered as a child) all those years ago. It's since become one of my favorite names!
Here's Garnet! I have no idea why I named her this, but I feel like it really fits her. I did a bit of research and apparently garnet symbolises confidence in yourself and the transfer of negativity to positivity. I personally don't believe in crystal healing, although those aspects are actually a big part of her backstory, which is a cool coincidence!
Tourmaline is named after the semi-precious stone! I named him that because it can come in many colours!
I was searching for name which could fit him and found an article about this stone.
It's created after the fast cooling of lava (and he is a fire dragon himself) , and I also read about the "magical" properties of this stone. I don't believe in such things, but everything about this stone sounded like it was the best choice for my boy.
