Nobody likes rules, but unfortunately we need them
- NO NSFW. You can flirt with him if you want but be aware he is married and will probably not take too nicely to it lol
- For the sake of stress, please don't join another rp in this thread, it gets confusing for me and can easily stress me out.
- No triggering topics, like heavy descriptions of self-harm/suicidal stuff. Fight scenes are ok
- Feel free to reply to my replies or submit multiple ocs (replying to me is heavily encouraged for an rp!)
- Ask if you want to make it into a full fledged rp (with me introducing more characters n stuff because I will only use Sunny in this thread)
- You may also ask to interact with his teenage form, but be aware he is VERY aggressive and I do not think anything he says, I love all of you guys' ocs <3
PROMPT (opt to use)
[YOUR OC] was selected by a secret organisation to go into space and investigate a planet far away from their own. Boarding the space ship, they are told the rules and what to do in need of an emergency. There were no other people going alongside them, just them and themselves. They have heard the rumors of a large space dragon that appeared to have a mane of pure fire, but they never believed the legends, after all, they're just silly stories, right? They are given equipment and swiftly sent off to space to begin the mission.
But, disaster strikes. Shortly after leaving their planet's atmosphere, the spaceship begins to fall apart quickly. Attempts to contact the organisation proved futile, and after a few minutes of floating around uncontrollably in space, your oc realises that the organisation had sent them up there to die. There was no mission, this was just a death sentence. However, they caught a flash of what looked like fire in the corner of their eye. Turning around, they were met with a giant dragon, quickly realising that this was the beast in the rumours, King Sunny Starsight, and now he was staring right down at them.
What does your oc do?
"That's great." Sunny smiled, turning to Chimera and beaming down at her. "At least you're not gone forever, that makes this whole thing a lot less depressing." He chuckled a little.
"Jeez," Ruth recoiled a little, glancing at the others in her group. "I wonder what kind of deal it was, to convince the Deity King. Let me guess, did it have something to do with killing Sunny?"
"Yeah. Anthias always know what you desired, and always would use it to get you to work with her. But she wouldn't hesitate to use it against you if need be." Kutik said
"...Jeez, almost makes me feel bad for the guy. Almost. Still can't deny the fact that he killed two of my friends in the war." Ruth shook her head, and a sad expression took over the other members of the group. They clearly didn't like whatever happened in the war.
"But still, I suppose becoming an actual Deity sounds super cool. Bet it comes with a lot of responsibilities, though." Sunny peered down at Chimera, trying to look on the lighter side of things.
"I'm so sorry you lost your friends. I know the pain of losing someone. Especially to..." Kutik hesitates before gulping nervously and continuing. "War."
"I'd suppose so..." She smiled a little nervously. "Well, with that settled.. I suppose we best be off then" The old cat spoke. "You did want me to join you, I presume?" He said.
"The war took out a lot from us, the worst in Fixianor, they call it." Ruth sighed, spreading one of her feathered wings to show off a large scar underneath it. "I don't think the effects will be gone anytime soon, that's for sure."
A few Star Guardians overheard, and sad expressions soon plagued their faces.
"Yeah." Sunny spoke up, raising his head. "I can take you all back to my Palace, I promise the journey isn't too long, or hazardous."
"I'm sorry for what happened. Events like what Denali did are the reason why I don't understand war. I mean, how does killing people on the other side benefit us in any way?" Kutik said before lowering his head. "War is the reason why my parents, biological or adoptive, are dead."
He nodded. "Well then, let's move quickly" He spoke. Chimera nodded. "I do hope there isn't much trouble carrying us..." She started before being interrupted by her grandfather. "Ah, I think I can carry you Chimera." He spoke and she looked surprised. "Really? H-How?" She asked, utterly confused. "Well... Now that you know the truth... how about I finally show you my true form?" He smiled. The Shaman smiled. "Ah, his deity form is a sight to behold. We will all be honored to see it, Lave om." He smiled softly.
"Exactly!" Ruth raised her head and ears, eyes widened slightly. "Violence never solves anything, it's not the answer and it should never be!" She shook her head with vigour. "I don't get why people think that war can solve any problem that two sides have; it just causes more suffering and the problem to get even worse."
Sunny, who was listening in from a distance, bit his lip and tucked his chin into his neck, looking down with a saddened, almost shameful expression, a hand tracing the scars littering his orange scales.
Sunny curiously peered over at Chimera's grandfather, blinking with a small smile. "I'm intrigued." He simply spoke, awaiting the transformation.
He smiled softly with a bit of a playful look. "Well, my transformation is a little big... what say we head out a bit so then I can transform?" He asked, soon, a couple pairs of feathered, pastel, translucent wings formed from his back. Chimera gasped softly.
Kutik sighed. "I hate violence. I always hated resorting to violence. I despise having to kill others." His ears flop
"Oh my," Sunny eyed the wings with curious eyes. Wings weren't an uncommon thing where he was from, but if he was being honest, he's never quite seen a pair so stunning. "But yes, I agree, we should head out. I'm starting to feel a little claustrophobic." He then added on with a slight shuffle, giving a sheepish grin.
"Nobody should be made to end a life. It's not nice." Ruth's ears droop as well, almost as if she too were speaking from experience. "I can't fathom those who would want to end lives for fun."
He nodded. "We better get going then. CoMe On PaRtNeR!" He spoke enthusiastically and silly like when she was little, Chimera giggled softly before crawling onto his back gently, he was bigger than her and she was easy to carry. He spread his double wings and trotted out, of the cave, the shaman close behind.
