makio Thanks so much! That's definitely a card Caeda would put to good use
yes drop an oc and I will assign them a yugioh card or archetype, going off the vibes that they give to me
He reminds me of SPYRAL Quik-Fix, who seems to be the technician for the SPYRALs, which are a group of secret agents. He was actually limited in the TCG for quite a bit (and is still limited to 1 in the OCG, which is the Asian version basically.) So he's an important and powerful little guy.
The Blackwings archetype seem to be the best fit. They're DARK-attribute birdies who were used by Crow in the anime. There used to be a conspiracy theory that Blackwings were so popular that they made Crow a main character for that reason. So they're pretty awesome and iconic, I'd say.
I saw Melffy's on their profile. Which is ultra mega cute and I absolutely adore that forever. But before I saw that I got it in my head that they would be a Plant-type user (I think it's because the bangs reminded me a bit of Yuri). Since everyone in Tron's family has an associated Number-card I was trying to think of the Number that would fit them the best, and I thought of Number 87!
I also was super stoked to see a Zexal OC since that's my heart and soul and my absolute everything. And they're an absolute cutie so thank you for blessing this thread.
Madolche archetype is full of toy dolls that are based on sweets. We can see in the card "Madolche Nights" that they are just toys living in a kid's room. I think they're all very sweet and cute and maybe he would enjoy them.
My brain saw "Dyson Sphere" and was like IS THAT A YUGIOH REFERENCE???? (yes I'm a person who only learned what a Dyson sphere was through Yugioh, shoutout to V who used that card and then nothing else).
I think Constellars would be a good pick, but I was thinking of using a Galaxy-type monster since they're basically made for sci-fi stuff. The Galactica archetype seems to relate to space and memories (according to the monster names). Archiving is all about gathering memories so I thought it'd work.
makio NO YOU'RE SO REAL FOR THAT THO BECAUSE I ONLY LEARNED ABOUT DYSON SPHERES THROUGH YU-GI-OH TOO- I do have V to thank for that. I think it's Zexal's fault that I like space and sci-fi so much.
And that's actually a really interesting pick! I was not really expecting that, but then again I haven't been keeping up with the new series much. Somehow, it works pretty well! This'll help a lot with the Yu-Gi-Oh AU I'll be constructing.
And if you were wondering, Unitas was originally based on Utopia Roots! Thus the color scheme and the "U" name.
Thanks so much! 🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨
Firewall archetype (which is mainly just variations of Firewall Dragon). The computer dragons are immensely cool and they're also always incredibly funny to me since it was on of the main character's main monsters but then it was too strong IRL so it got banned and also seemingly erased from the anime lmao.
Ancient Gears. Which oddly enough probably has the most representation throughout all the anime outside of the typical DM-related cards. All of the Ancient Gears are pretty cool so I love that.
ashen I didn't play Legends Arceus but I know it takes place in old Sinnoh, ans your character seems to be a fan of old myths and such and while it's not the same thing, Imagined he'd like Chronomalys (coincidentally, this is my favorite deck) which are based on OOParts
Technically not the first OOPart deck but it is the most fleshed out one. It's a really fun deck to play so it's my personal recc.
Using Moai to represent the archetype for no other reason than it makes me happy to look at.
Jammerraccoon oh wow I just got to talk about my favorite deck and now I can talk about my second favorite! Abyss Actors. They're a whole archetype of DARK-attribute Fiend-type monsters who are actors in a theater troupe. They're all incredibly awesome.
