i wanna see some ocs with service dogs/assistance dogs! for the purposes of this  thread that's defined as a dog specifically task trained to help with a disability (so not for esas or other types of working dog, sorry)
also, if you want to, tell me a little bit about them! how did they get their service dog? what are some of the dog's tasks? what breed traits were factored into their choice, if applicable?
out of the ocs i have visible right now, i have:
Cyrael and her mobility dog Horizon, who she initially got intending to be strictly a hunting dog, but found could help with balance and walking
Revian figured out dogs could pick up on his condition and trained one specifically to alert him to oncoming flares so he can get somewhere safe
Silvaria also has a cardiac alert dog i haven't drawn yet
+ dog tax with my own service dog in training

Miroslav has a service dog named Masha. She's a borzoi. More specifically, she is a seizure alert dog. She warns Miroslav of seizures before they happen. She will follow and nudge him and will keep doing so until he lays down/gets in a safe position. It's still undecided in the story as to what she does specifically, but as I do more research, I will eventually decide. For now, she is a seizure alert dog.
