ANYWAY yeah toss me a character and I'll try my best to assign them a fitting instrumental piece! It'll either be classical, contemporary, a cool instrumental piece from a video game or movie or smth but it'll all be orchestral!

2balt OH Model 3 is VERY interesting. I really wanted to touch that "fun performer with a touch of something sinister", and I've always associated the sound of a marching band with "fun but imposing" (because I'm biased lmao) so I'll assign it this awesome marching band arrangement of Granada by the Arizona State University Sun Devils marching band! One of my favorite marching band pieces ever lmao. Also careful if you wear headphones it gets. Loud.

Anyway for Daiki, I'll assign him Manha de Carnival by Quincy Jones from Black Orpheus. Hooray, he gets the first jazz orchestral piece! I think this captures his laid-back but confident personality. Also his badassery in a subtle way.
hsin Oh Neptune's gorgeous, I absolutely love ray/skate mermaids they're AWESOME!! I'll assign them Balaenoptera Musculus by Austin Wintory from ABZU. I can't think of a better ocean-dwelling stargazer guardian song than this!!

regarding instruments, im one of those people who tries to pick one up, gets frustrated, and then tries another, ad infitinum... :') i'm trying to get better about it. the one i return to most often and which i have the most experience with is the 7-course lute - which is the one i want to learn the most, but the one i find most frustrating :( my hands are really small and the neck of the lute is wide. it's really hard for me to press the courses correctly for that reason. sometimes i wish i had tried mandolin instead. guess i could still pick up mandolin down the road... add it to the pile of other musical bits and bobs in the house
oh! composers... i have a lot i really like, but i'm extremely fond of Jessica Curry's work, especially the soundtrack of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. just breathtaking, gorgeous music. Vincent Diamante's work on Sky: Children of the Light still brings tears to my eyes sometimes, too. as far as classical, though, i really like Debussy - arabesque #1 is my favorite piece, by far. sounds like trickling water, makes me think of a spring day in the garden with gentle rain... makes me feel at peace.

YOOO I play Trumpet and a bit of piano!! I used to play Violin. I'm trying to learn the Ocarina!! I was in Band Ensemble ever since we were given the option, and I can't tell you my favorite classical artist bc I love and enjoy too many of them to just have one 😭 I'd love to see what you have for this gal, or if you want someone else, I'll offer you this fella, or this guy!
