Ticketmaster of a Murder Circus Reacts to Your OC

Posted 1 month, 9 days ago (Edited 1 month, 7 days ago) by Ticketmaster Creativelie

This is alder. Alder is fun because he doesn’t have any way to perceive about the aesthetics of anything around him. So everything he perceives is going to be as objective as possible. He is the human Ticketmaster to a sentient circus pocket dimension created and manned entirely by fae, and he has a spiritual connection to it. So long as he is inside of the circus, anything the circus wants/desires/fears is almost identical to Alder, though he has independent thoughts of his own. He’s a very different person when outside of his home (a lot more relaxed), but I’ll be doing these as if it is happening close to the circus unless specified otherwise.

This isn’t meant to be an rp, but you can reply to the reaction in-character if you want!

Elliot Grimalken Pyromander

This oughta be fun lol

Ticketmaster Creativelie

Thanks for waiting! Here’s the first batch ^^

Bakugo_mha - “A soul corrupted by malware… How exciting.”

Wildly enough, as kind of scary as N33k0 is I think Alder would see him as a peer. I doubt that his Circus would be able to do much to hurt or get in the way of N33k0. So if he’s ever allowed to enter, he’d be allowed in as someone to bask in the suffering rather than someone they intend to torment. Good for him!

NinjaNightCrawler - “There’s a tightrope-walking act I think you’d enjoy— just around the corner there.”

Sadly, Alder would kind of look down on Quimper. He’d look down on the poor guy and his sensitivity, but he’s not going to do anything to make it obvious. He doesn’t often interact with guests after they enter the circus.

calimaricutlery - “I think you’re going to get a lot out of your time here.”

There are so many different acts that would target specifically Cosmo after all the things she’s been through I think Alder would see him as especially susceptible. On the plus side, Alder tends to like people who he sees as more likely to crash and burn. So… Yay! He likes Cosmo.

sidneiiu - “… I… Don’t think I feel comfortable giving you a ticket. Thanks for coming by.”

Alder would see Astral as too kind-hearted to witness what’s going on inside of the circus and too powerful to be a victim. He’s mostly worried that she is going to try to interfere and stop what the circus is doing, which Alder would not want to happen. In the end, he mostly sees Astral as an adversary and doesn’t want to have to fight him. (Because he knows he’s lose)

Shadowpaw_123_ - “Welcome, I’m sure you’ll fit right in.”

So long as the circus gets to keep the souls of whoever Ludwig consumes and Ludwig doesn’t interrupt the acts, he’d be treated as a peer and given free rein to wander around and do as he like. Alder doesn’t really see murder as something abnormal or wrong (since he was raised in this environment), so he’d probably be super comfortable around Ludwig.

Im extremely funny btw

AvaTheAxolotl - “Bit smaller than our usual guests… But I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself all the same.”

As someone who finds Abyss very cute, I’m sorry to report that Alder can’t share that sentiment. Abyss is another soul for the circus to consume for him :( He’d be polite enough until she figures out what danger she’s in, though. She would definitely be directed toward the jugglers pit first if she asked.

Depressed_Microwave - “No need to wander around blind. You don’t want to miss out, do you? Open your eyes.”

In a place where the goal is to hurt the occupants, Deimos‘s ability would be welcomed more here than it would feel comfortable with. Unless the circus doesn’t realize what Deimos’s deal is right off the bat, then he’d be treated as just another guest until they work out the pattern. Alder especially would be happy to kind of “scout” his talents if Deimos wanted to join (before knowing the murderous intentions of the staff, obviously), but the misfortune thing would be probably the only thing to appeal to him.

chroniqueen - “I’m sure that’ll change today.”

It will not. Alder is going to laugh as Hiddenite gradually realizes how dangerous this circus is as well and hopes to do as much damage as possible :( I’m sorry he‘s terrible, I think Hiddenite looks cool.

invalid__user - “Enjoy your time with us… as much as you can.”

Surprisingly, not the first entry to the Circus who is a painting containing the emotions of their painter who has since passed. On the downside, this means they’ve acclimated and know how to treat Vent like a guest. Vent is going to get some very appealing offers that secretly costs more than what Vent stands to gain.

AsianTapWater - “Huh. We’re missing the same eye. I wonder what your experience was like.“

Sadly, Alder wouldn’t have enough sympathy for Commander Lim to allow him safe passage through the circus, but he would be nice enough to not direct him toward the exhibits that include sirens or reliving traumas. Alder has a bit of a mental block when it comes to relating to humans, but there’s just enough about Zagreus that feels familiar that it might actually call to whatever human part of him remains, if only for a moment.

Hunter Shadowpaw_123_

Yep, makes sense xd and oh, Ludwig would allow them to keep all the souls, if he can commit his lovely little mass murders.

Now let's see, would Alder allow Ludwig's (currently she) parter after him?

beankid - “No biting, if you can help it.”

I think it’d be a coin flip whether or not Jackie would be seen as and treated like a guest, an employee, or a threat to the life of the circus and its staff (because zombie-like infections are taken very seriously when the staff are worried it could get out of control). It’ll take some further monitoring for Alder to make any solid conclusions, but he is especially vulnerable to disease so that monitoring will be done from a distance.

Swarmofmoths - “You seem like a funhouse kind of fish. It’s right around the corner there if you ever feel like checking it out.”

For context (Alder is horrible) and the funhouse contains a creature that likes to make people relive their traumas before consuming them… Alder likes that Chimera seems to have been through a lot and has now greatly improved. Specifically because that means that his coworkers can dig in their fingers where it hurts. So overall, positive feelings for all the wrong reasons.

IdiotScout - “How does anybody have this much energy as an adult???”

The Mediator might be too overwhelming for Alder! She’s so fast and spontaneous he might have an aneurism if they stand too close together. He might try to take away her gun just specifically to not deal with it because I think it would make him snap. I’m sorry Alder is allergic to joy, I think she looks like a lot of fun ^^

MegiW - “… Encountered any girls in red cloaks recently? I feel like I should be asking you about your teeth or something...”

Alder’s emotions, while not completely gone, have been pretty stunted. This would not stop him from feeling a primal fear in his gut upon meeting Žimer, he is far too human to not feel it. Being raised by and around the fae at least means that he has a general idea of what he’s facing, but his job requires him to be at least present.

howdyadoitsnatty - “Always nice to meet another puppet… Even the more buggy ones.”

As the Ticketmaster, Alder’s relationship with the living circus he was raised in is difficult to describe. The easiest summary i can muster at the moment; the circus lives through him and is partially possessing him to where he has just enough of a consciousness to think all of his choices are his own… but almost a complete lack of free will. additionally, he loves being apart of the circus and considers it apart of himself— feeling like he’s missing something if he ever leaves. That being said, he would Greatly relate to Maya and almost see her as a peer, which is saying a lot.

Jackie beankid

"Its not like im gonna pass something, like im able too. But if i am hungry, ill bite, not specifying what but i will"

Hiddenite chroniqueen

"I am going to hunt you for sport."

Hiddenite might not be the strategist of his team, but he's sharp enough to know when he's in danger and out of his depth.  When he escapes, likely fighting his way out and losing plenty of arrows in the process, he is not going to be happy with the laughing ticketmaster.

Ikhor'ekhmet nephilapothecary

coming from one cirque to another, i wonder how he'd react to my firbolg sphinx here :-O!

Daybreak IdiotScout

Thats completely fair tbh!! If I spent a day with the Mediator, my social battery would prolly be drained really quick 😭 hmmm but what if I offered someone on the complete opposite of the spectrum, like a sleep-deprived fallen angel with zero motivational drive and an occasional bloodlust 🦐🦐🦐

Pyromander - “I’m sure we’ll get along great… So long as you stay… as far away from me as reasonably possible.”

As much as he doesn’t like to acknowledge it, Alder is ultimately very human with a very human body and very human blood. He’d prefer to not be mauled and would probably avoid Elliot after allowing him entry into the circus. Just solely for his own health and well-being. Every other human is fair game, though.

NEOBOOTS1 - “You must be fun at parties”

Hi Epsureeee, Alder fully expects to drive you to madness in here. He would love to see you relive your trauma too, sorryyyy

Shadowpaw_123_ - “… Don’t stray from the path.”

I think that Hunter would be given some grace because of his connection to the eltritch creature that is Ludwig, but as soon as the Circus can say whatever happens to Hunter is his own fault, it‘s going to turn against him. It isn’t just because of his relationship with Ludwig, Alder can additionally relate to Hunter’s dissociation from humanity and would be a little softer on him for it. Basically; Hunter is cool so long as he doesn’t put himself into danger, whether he’s aware of it or not.

dino_the_rex - “Was the fighting worth it?”

I hate to say this but Aethelric is just the kind of person who Alder would love to push the buttons of. He has so much going for him and seems like he’s really grown as a person after witnessing atrocities, but Alder would love to try to get him to break. Especially if he realizes the dichotomy between Aethelric being a loyal soldier who fought to kill orcs who later became his friends— he’d find the irony delightful. Alder would probably end a meeting with Aethelric getting punched in the face.

nephilapothecary - “You’re welcome to come by any time— I’m sure we’ll be able to make some space for you.”

Alder was raised by and among fae, so Ikhor’ekhmet is not just a familiar creature to him, but one whose presence is completely welcome even if it tries to threaten him in some way. Especially since he apparently also has a history with a circus, Alder is very pleased with the presence of the sphinx. I wish he had the mind to ask if he could pet it, though, Ikhor’ekmet looks so fluffy and Alder would not care :(
