Here is my entry!
Food
Partisan Pockets - This dessert is given on Xynthii-Nunuke Friendship Day, and it symbolizes the bonds between the two different species. The outer area is a soft and stretchy dough that is made with Lumila petals that have pounded into a flour, and the sticky and sweet insides are made with the sap produced from the Tuluke vine. When gifted, these pastries are seen as an amazing way to commemorate a friendship due to how difficult it can be to obtain the ingredients for them.
Sticky Horns - This pastry is often given to celebrate the anniversary of a Nunuke's hatch day. Although the pastry is most often filled with loophole fruit jam, on particularly special anniversaries they may be filled with Tuluke vine sap.
Drinks
Bloomoke - This fruity flavored drink is aged near lava pools for 4 earth years before being un-casked and made available to drink. Once ordered, it is most commonly served with the succulent blooms of the Tuluke vine, although it can be served without. In upscale bars it is often made with a dash of Tuluke vine sap to give it it's distinctive colorful and shimmery visage.
Fractal Sphere Wine - A sweet and glowing drink that forms edible crystals when left for long periods of time. The crystals are formed from residue produced by the Lumila bulbs that are mixed within the wine, which were originally added to create a glowing drink. The crystals have a unique ability of releasing small amounts of light when broken apart or smashed.
Plants
Tuluke Vines - These vines are often found in cracks near the grounds of caves, although the oldest vines tend to be found high above the heads of most creatures who are traversing in the area. Tuluke vines start off their lives as small sprouts that fall from their parent vines, and slowly grow towards areas of less light. As they mature, they become darker, and begin to produce dark pink buds. A fully mature Tuluke vine is a deep violet in color with four-petaled fuchsia buds, and will leak sap when cut or damaged. The colors of the floral heads indicate the color of the sap within.
Lumila - Lumila are a type of flower that grow only above lava pools, and that give off their own bioluminescent glow. Their life cycle starts off as seeds that fall from dead lumilas, and that slowly unpack within the warmth of a lava pit's fiery depths. Once the adolescent plant has used up the nutrients provided within the seed casing, it floats to the surface of the lava and begins to unfurl a near weightless thread that rises off of the thermals created by the lava until the thread affixes itself to the cave ceiling. Once that process is complete, the thread is strengthened until the last remnants of the seeds can be lifted out of the lava and are able to create a bud. The growing bud will continue to be lifted higher and higher until it is high above the heat of the lava pit, where the plant can finally unfurl it's two petals and allow it's bulb
(or bulbs) to hang out. The petals of the Lumila plant will most often have colored markings on it, and those colors associate to what the plant's bulb will glow.
