MiRAI lore is like an alternate world to our own, within a separate republic, once created by ChornayaDrakoshig and Sightseed on a whim. All coincidences with reality are coincidental. Or not. Or yes.
The general concept
The original concept is called "changelings," derived from the initial twist of flipping names and patronymics. To be a little more ironic, the characters in this concept reside in the Republic of Despair.
There was a cataclysm in the territory of Despair, which caused it to be broken up into separate surviving autonomous cities, currently connected by railroads. The names of autonomies are a kind of abbreviations: MiRAI - Minsk District Autonomy of Idealism, BarZHA - Baranovichi Railway Autonomy, BRaMA - Borisov Rayon ProMyshlennaya Autonomy, RAPit - River Autonomy Piter, MosYAKRA - Moscow Nuclear-Cosmic District Autonomy, etc. The preserved railroad runs through various kinds of anomalies, due to which the staff of Despair railways persuasively asks everyone who is moving not to look through the windows of the train between stops. Daredevils who ventured to do so told of an unpleasant sensation, as if someone is looking at you from outside, visions of silhouettes and an overwhelming feeling of nausea, with a picture floating before the eyes upon arrival at their destination.
In the autonomies themselves, too, transportation is predominantly rail (trams) or other electric (probably due to the exhaustion/unavailability of other resources). The boundaries of the autonomies are clearly marked by force fields, barriers designed to protect the inhabitants from external anomalies. That, however, does not prevent smaller anomalies to appear there (the general information field, subspace, "reptiloids", the ability of "shifts" (tulpas) to become visible, etc.).
There is also a portal from the world of the Changelings to ours inside a purple tractor, abandoned on a field in some dark wasteland.
Not a bug, but a feature

- Chocolate does some kind of a trick to any body;
- In the world of Changelings, there is such kind of sport as figure walking;
- Any lost luggage is turned into riches and sent to the depths of the universe;
- In the depths of the universe lives the fluhix bird (fly + phoenix);
- Any self-respecting professor rises like a fluhix every morning to keep himself functioning and not fall apart.
- You can't sleep in class because you'll bound to fall into subspace.
- The heat in the dorm rooms is maintained by butthurts; the batteries simply store it.
- Each person has a special ability (not always revealed).
- It's possible that there are representatives of other species in the world, at least all sorts of half-demons and other trivial fellows, but this is all written off by ordinary people to raging anomalies and all the same shifts.
- Survival on a scholarship, protection from dark forces and the government, how to conjure up hot water, catching freebies before exams, summoning a demon to do your homework, subduing scandalous grannies, courses on karma corruption, expanding space with the help of the fifth dimension.

Inversion
Inversion = teleportation through the inversion of space.
The alternative to teleportation is space inversion. ≈How to catch a lion in the desert. Method of inverse geometry > place a cage in a given point of the desert, enter it and lock it from the inside; make an inversion of space with respect to the cage; now the lion is inside the cage, and we are outside.

String Theory = "telekinesis" .
Shifts
The phenomenon is akin to tulpas, mostly manifests itself as a humanoid creature of a slightly machine-like appearance, in a more pumped state it has two forms - combat "true", and "intact" more close to a normal human. Also, weak shifts can manifest as objects/properties: e.g. "Fare Fairy" rarely assembles into humanoid form and mostly takes the form of an endless pass for all modes of transportation (a card that adjusts its image to the right type of pass and its expiration date), or Infected Mushrooms, which looks like spiky mushrooms that sprout on the shift owner, serving as antennae to the phone, thus allowing you to dial anywhere in the world and sometimes right into the caller's head. They can also sometimes be used to fight other shift owners, but this is a rather useless activity.
Blooming
When a person falls in love, floral patterns appear on his skin.
The theme is similar to soulmate, but the marks indicate not a soulmate, but any kind of falling in love in general. It looks like a floral pattern, depending on the personality of the person one has fallen in love with; or rather, the impression one has of that person. Marks can change over time, but do not go away completely, even if you have fallen out of love.
Most often, certain places "sprout" - some only on the hands, some near the heart, etc.
Locales
Fields
"Kajdarovna went into the fields and did not return."
The fields are spaces outside the autonomies, abandoned territories. It is in these fields that the purple tractor with the portal to our reality is located. However, there are cases when spatial transition anomalies were generated outside the fields as well.
White Lilea
The locale that started it all. It is a lyceum on the shore of a lake, existing in BarZHA. The view of the building from above makes you think about the hidden meanings and meanings of this structure.
Despair State University of Inversion and Recursion
- On Thursdays in P.E., it rains over the stadium. The wind always blows in the stadium; it doesn't depend on outside weather conditions.

Despair State University of Moores
- A rite of initiation in a moores'es uni - the choice of a "kinder". There is a popular belief that only the true ones can pull a pony out of a kinder-surprise egg.
- No one is really sure why the university calls like that. Seniors are beginning to attribute it to the fact that the student has seen some shit while studying there.
- Students in general are somewhat like jackals - on the one hand each for himself, but when they get together in piles, they form a consilium and begin to think as one, gaining great power. At such moments, the most important thing is to channel the power in the right direction.
Academy Acurente
- A ray of light in all of this, as it is home to art students - sound/operators, creators of merch and costumes, and, of course, the artists (crossed out) of the Idols themselves.
perhaps the only university that requires a uniform shirt and uniform tie. - blue and green are the support faculties, where they purposefully learn how to create cool merch, work with sound, and do all kinds of shit that helps idols sell well (blue is merch, and green is sound engineers/operators).
- yellow - media people who directly host all sorts of programs, TV shows, concerts, and so on.
- and red - singing and dancing youngsters the most commonplace path for which there is the biggest competition, but in fact, without blue and yellow they can do little, so they are sometimes pushed to do this so they don't get too conceited.
- Teachers also have a uniform shirt and uniform tie, but their color is orange.
