honestly, this might not be 100% accurate or fitting, but you strike me as the type of person who just really wants some hugs at the end of the day, though you, to me anyway, also have this weird bashful playfulness about you that's actually endearing. i really tried to think up a pokemon that suited the colorful, sparkly vibes that you also have, but... i was also really leaning towards something more down-to-earth, which is where Cubone comes in! also i know i probably bring up ground-types a lot in threads like these, but... ground-types are one of the most memorable to me/one of my favorites. :') it might be a bit "edgier" than what i'd picture you as, but I feel that it might fit you well. also, i know that you're younger than me, so i was already sort of leaning on a first or second stage pokemon i'm so sorry--

though, alternatively, you also remind me of fairy-types in general, though this is likely influenced by your former pfp, so i tried to avoid them. if i had to pick one, though, i'd go for Clefairy! it's more your aesthetic, i think, more so than Cubone.

Your interests and overall aesthetic sense lead me to think of a ghost type! More than that, you have a sort of mysterious nature and sense of humor that makes me think ghost as well. Since your sona is a komodo dragon, I think something with a degree of "reptile" in it would be very fitting, too, therefore... 

Dragapult!

Its visual design seems like something you'd enjoy, and I personally find the fact that it launches Dreepy out of its head hilarious, and I get the feeling you'd also find that hilarious. To go a bit deeper with the typing, I think ghost types lend themselves well to your writing style; lots of ghost Pokemon have these really heartbreaking backstories, and the way some of them connect to the larger world if you think about / analyze those stories reminds me a bit of your characters' connections with one another. For Dragapult specifically, while it was generally an aesthetic choice, its previous forms have that sense of cohesion with each other that I don't see in every evolutionary chain, and I think that suits you for similar reasons as the writing thing.

I’m getting really big Zoroa/Zoroark vibes. You put in your bio that you like dark themes and, while having darker tones, some your characters seem very cute to me! Also, random thing, the cheek fluff on your animal-like characters reminded me of Zoroa.

I remember you! You like Bug Fables, so I chose a bug type. I can't exactly pinpoint why beedrill comes to mind, but that's what I'm going with!

u don't have much profile info to go by, but ur username makes me think a grass/water type, but ur profile gif makes me think of a water/electric, or flying/electric. either way, i get rain/stormy vibes, even if both are quite different vibes

i do think anyone on the lotad line would suit! they definitely make me think 'sunshower', but lanturn suits the more stormy feel! i can't rly decide between the three in the lotad line, so i think lanturn might be a good one to settle on!

I apologize if this comes off as a liiiittle shallow, but I've always associated you with dragons because of that Spyro icon, and - by extension - Dragon-types srfgjhfgvj- but it's also obvious based off the variety of characters on your profile, as well as the blurb about you being a "fish enthusiast," that you're a fairly flexible person, and when I think about flexibility, I think of either Water types (since that's the most common Pokemon type and accommodates a lot of designs as a result) or Normal types (similar reason to Water, but it can also learn a wide variety of moves).

considering that, I have to say that Kingdra would fit you fairly nicely!!

the main reason why I settled with Water instead of, say, Normal is because based off your typing style, you overall seem like a fairly casual person, and you've always come off as fairly chill whenever I see you around in the forum games!! also, I think I mentioned this in a different thread, but I tend to associate Water types with both variety and consistency, and I see that with you in general! as mentioned before, you have a wide variety of characters, but there are also those tropes (as well as their icons) that I can consider consistent enough for me to think of you when I see said characters in the forums.

as for why Kingdra specifically..... I've always been intrigued by your IC writing style (as well as how you write out profiles), and by GOD am I weak for your use of second-person.... it's not something I see around very often, whether it be here or in literature, and such use of an uncommon perspective always strikes me as elegant?? not pretentiously ofc, but in a way that strikes me as unique, and Kingdra also comes off as fairly elegant imo haha. I also feel like Kingdra would fit a bit nicely into your interest in fish and fish-keeping; plus, I remember from scouring through your profile that you keep/kept bettas at some point, and their fin shapes overall remind me of those of a Kingdra for some reason??

Ninetales is pretty neat, and I can see how it can be connected to my interest in classic lit hehe- also bonus points to you for pointing out the Alolan form in your response - as well as incorporating it into your overall reasoning - since it's arguably one of my favorite regional variants haha. and honestly, you're pretty on point with me leaning towards simpler character designs and not being super competitive wheeze- the juxtaposition between elegance and vengeance that the Pokemon's lore entails seems to fit a lot of my characters well too- :0c

i think ive mentioned this before but you have a very. acedemia/bookstore energy to you,,, kinda vintage, which is very fitting for ninetales! its one of the oldest ones around, and always regarded as mysterious and incredibly intelligent! it has a pretty simple but incredibly charming appearance, which you seem to like to stick to,,, the kitsune is a Classic design and you cant go wrong with it, which just,,, kinda seems to suit you,,, the fact that some of its pokedex entries remarking on its vengeful nature also seems fitting due to your ocs, and the way a lot of them are like,,, really dark at times,,, very,,, dramatic lol. ninetales just Feels like the equivalent of a classic novel in pokemon form,,, especially with the fact it even got an alolan form, like how a lot of novels get modern reproductions/re-imaginings? also how it had a spot in competitive back in gen 5 when it got drought.... the fact that its never really been *extremely* competitive feels like you as well- its very much the pokemon a lot of people love just for what it is! its very neat,,, its also the colour of book pages,,,, very elegant and refined :>
