Fizz making a forum game!? Shocking. I know!
If this one is already made let me know i'll lock the tread, but the general idea of this game is well.. Dancing! It doesn't have to be romantic not even platonic!
The rules are simple,

  • Your oc dances with the one above! Surprising I know.
  • You don't have to describe every movement, every twirl, but put some afford in it. (So no: "he looked at her, they danced and with a smile he left.")
  • Please no NSFW or violent stuff. If you really want to go dark please black it out. Like this!
  •  You can post again after 2 replies, or if 12 hours have passed.
  • Please fill in your claim in 22hours. I'll try to send you a reminder after ±10 h. We want to keep the game flowing!  If you fail to do so your post gets skipped.
ex,
Oc: (Starts)
OC 2: "Let's light up this party, just you and me babe! Let's dance" *With some cool 90's background music*
OC 3: Ufhg, I despise you. I loath you. I bet I can beat you in a breakdance stand off >:'( *And so she did*.

Want to sing instead? This thread is for you!

Nerine Diadrakos (5997-6003) Vapor

ramyune - it has been five months here you go sorry for continuing to attack isolde with lesbianism

Ballroom dancing was not part of Nerine's education as a noblewoman. The Durutan people had much less of a focus on the arts as opposed to one's survival, especially in regards to herself. All she had to learn was how to wield a sword and shield, how to navigate social and political situations, how to be a hero. This, quite unlike Isolde's upbringing, the tragedy of it all, only ever a pretty face. Not that it would come up. One's privacy was paramount, and it seemed the composer preferred hers to be locked away.

Nevertheless, all of this didn't mean Nerine was artistically worthless. Her skills might not be to the height of Isolde's or her dear wife's -- God knows her poetry was dreadful -- but dancing? She could do dancing. And, to her surprise, Isolde accepted. She tried not to make a scene about it, how merely the glance of a bombshell made her foolish and giddy on the inside, partly not to scare off her dance partner. This joy, instead, expressed through the gentlest touch, a hand soft on Isolde's shoulder.

They moved across a polished marble floor, aided by the swell of elegant strings and soft percussion. Her lips curved into a playful smile, showing a bit of white teeth. And as the music continued to intensify, so did her confidence, with a silly little flourish to the rhythm.

"Your grace is unparalleled, no?" Nerine murmured, almost too quietly, "And your beauty... let's just say it's enough to make the stars jealous."

Cheesy. Super cheesy. But, some women liked cheesy.

In any case, it was all in good fun. If the rumors were true and the blind could hear everything, then Nerine might have been too afraid to press any further. The Yene were so conservative with their love, their toying. Was it not freeing to say what one meant? To let another know their heart? Did Isolde understand that, too?

"..I just have to count myself lucky," she then added, "To be given such an opportunity. Here. May I come closer?"

hello . followup for the Kurumi . the kurum . the krum, perhaps

Kurumi really seemed to be stumbling all over themself. Their nervousness was so palpable that Nerine could hear it, taste it, feel it through their dance steps. She couldn't help the pang of sympathy for them, though not quite empathy. Perhaps she was too forward in events such as these, and so, she could not completely relate. Their anxieties, she assumed, were just too dissimilar. She would have thought also, with their work, that such situations were of more ease for them. Apparently not.

She looked at their face, the downward, shaky curve of their lip, the unease of it all. She had to make a conscious effort to guide Kurumi along the dance floor, trying her best to correct their missteps without judgement or anything that so much as could be perceived as such. Who knows how well that might have worked out.

"Hey, it's alright!" Nerine exclaimed. Her voice was neither soft nor reassuring, though she tried to make her words so. "We're just here to have fun, right? There's no need to apologize. And in any case..."

"You're doing great. Even then, it's not about being perfect. You should know that." Then, a pause. "..But, we can take a break, if you'd like. I don't mind at all. How about we get ourselves a couple'f drinks and loosen up, huh?"

Kurumi Hirano ryokvcha

was originally gonna use my wife kaoru but uh

Though rarely left with time for themself, Kurumi had found themself within a ballroom - a place they'd rarely be seen on any normal day, though perhaps it'd been due to the urging of Tetora to attend more social events that they'd found themself here. They'd never even thought of themself as particularly good at dancing, yet...

They couldn't quite remember quite how it had happened, perhaps too caught up in their own nervousness of being near so many people, yet here they were, dancing with a woman they hadn't even remembered the name of. Though they swore they'd heard it sometime, they were far too focused in trying not to stumble over themself - something they'd continuously done. Something they'd continuously apologized for.

"I-I'm so sorry," they softly mumbled as they tripped once more, such words had become a commodity throughout the night. Countless apologies had fallen from their lips, accompanied by a nervous glance to the side each time - in fact, they'd been avoiding eye contact with Nerine the entire night. "I'm...no good at dancing, I'm sorry."

Yet still, it was clear they'd been doing their best - even if they were perhaps just a few negative comments from bursting into tears.

@ np ;; rlly obvious if you read their profile but some people just. continue to use she/her or he/him for them so i just. wanna make it clear that kurumi ONLY uses they/them pronouns. 😭
