The above oc has been kidnapped

Posted 3 years, 8 months ago by  Cobra ZuupMummy

Idk if there's a thread like this but here goes I guess lol.

So basically, just write down your oc reacting to the OC above getting kidnapped, and whether they'd help them out or not. Then, you post a scenario on how your oc got kidnapped.

I'll start

Cobra went on one of his strolls at night because he was unable to get any sleep that night. He knew it was dangerous to be out this late, but he did know how to defend himself at least. But this time, he was ambushed by a group of thugs.

Évariste Sanguinetti (Modern) Nuclear-Hydrangea

gvre done! it is in spoiler since it was very long. I hope it's on point on your OC, if there are any errors, please let me know :D

(The time I wrote this was I used Eleftherios and Dr. Athanasiadis

News spread around the city regarding a recent kidnapping. After all research Eleftherios and his wife, Afroditi, done regarding this kidnapped individual, from contacting the person of interest, Hanako, who is very close to Cupid regarding details about them via internet, to tracking down the location of the kidnappers with the help from the hackers from the Technomaniacs Cooperative. He doesn't trust the police either regarding this case, either they were too slow to respond nor would end up violently. Eleftherios managed to stumbled upon an abandoned establishment that supposed to be where Cupid was kidnapped, at least based from the information one of the hackers got. He's not alone however, as this whole investigation was a risky activity, Dr. Athanasiadis was dragged along as he was worried about Eleftherios' initiative to rescue someone who has been kidnapped. Though, bringing the old professor would be an advantage considering his combat experience and tactical knowledge he had back in the war.

As they soon they are entering the establishment, Eleftherios made a distraction by making noises, while Dr. Athanasiadis began shooting the guards with his old gun. Not really a wise decision to make up a noise in the middle of the dark, especially if there are people more armed around. As soon as the guards was shot, Eleftherios and Dr. Athanasiadis gathered the body armor to protect themselves in case the situation becomes more dangerous. It was dark inside, people are fully armed with knives and guns, Eleftherios' nervously entering the establishment itself while Dr. Athanasiadis had to keep the programmer calm. The people weren't just a bunch of randomly hired goons, rather, they were professionals with experience with dealing assassinations and killings. Yet, it doesn't stop Eleftherios' goal to save someone's life... or is it worth it perhaps.

Eleftherios made some noises again, he heard gunshots from the distance, after a while, someone got close to him, he got the chance to get the grasp of the kidnapper's legs and swept them. Dr. Athanasiadis kept shooting until he ran out of bullets for his rifle. He picked up another gun from a knocked down henchman, the professor quite not familiar with the modern guns but he still managed to shoot down the other henchmen. Eleftherios got surrounded with two kidnappers, all have knives with them. The programmer dodged his way around despite his age, his leg was hit, yet he punched the henchman in the face. Eleftherios lifted the henchman up until he made a suplex on them, causing the henchman's head to be injured. He wrestled another attacker and chokeslammed them towards the table.

As all the kidnappers are all unconscious, or rather some dead. Eleftherios and Dr. Athanasiadis kept looking for the person they were rescuing for until they went to the dim lit room, they have thought it was the last of it yet one person is alive. The chair contained Cupid, all tied up head to toe and their mouth is taped up. Based on the attire, it would seem Cupid was skilled at combat or rather someone on a mission. Eleftherios remembered somewhere while researching was Cupid is a nekomimi cyborg with a taste for expensive clothing, but in dangerous situations, they wore attire suited for combat situations.

Eleftherios had a thought to charge the last kidnapper, yet it was dangerous to do so as the kidnapper was heavily armed. "Be silent, Eleftherios, that was the last man standing but don't underestimate their skills". Dr. Athanasiadis adjusted his aim until it was on the correct part, he pulled the trigger and shot the last kidnapper dead. It is now free to enter the room, Eleftherios had to look for something to cut the ropes Cupid was bound at. When he looked up the walls, there were assassination notices for Cupid. Realized it was not just a random kidnapping but a targeted one, though based on the information Eleftherios gathered was Cupid is an owner of an entertainment establishment called Angel's Lair which is said the workers were assassins. Saving an assassin would made Eleftherios anxious at first, yet what has been done has been done. He felt that Cupid won't kill him just because he saved them.

Eleftherios got the combat knife lying on the table and cut up the rope that was bound on Cupid's hands, "Don't worry, we're saving you from this place. Hanako was worried about you.", he said in a calming tone while removing the ropes, "Let's get out of here before something dangerous comes. I didn't do this for reward by the way, I just want to help someone out even it would cost a life.", Cupid is finally free, Eleftherios, Dr. Athanasiadis, and Cupid finally got out of the abandoned establishment and rode the vehicle, drove away from the establishment distantly.

"You must be exhausted and hungry" said Dr. Athanasiadis, "Feel free to ask if you need food or anything, other wise, tell us where you are from so we can return you there safely... or if you want to, we can have a chat to ease your mind while we return you to your place"

NP: just go wild with scenarios to any of my characters, so the game wont be so stuck. I'll put a random character IC'd....

or you know.. just pick anyone here instead so the game wont be really stuck.

reply v (it's alright dude, you're good.)

Évariste was longing for salvation from this concrete mess. There's no wifi, no signals, he is unable to call his partner nor emergency to save him from this concrete prison. When he heard the commotion above floors, he is relieved that there's someone coming but there were sounds of grinding metal and heavy thuds. How brilliant whoever got Évariste prepared what's coming just to halt the rescue. He can hear faint footsteps above, could be his captor... or rather some obsessive fan? or perhaps there is actually someone saving him.

Worry lingers his mind, what if someone coming could be hurt from the machines at the upper floors. It the noise stopped for a while until he heard someone knocking. Évariste tapped the door as a response, the door was strong and sturdy, made of steel. The door opened, revealing a elf-like woman with a white, long hair. Her outfit looks like from a sci fi film, but who knows if it's just her preferred style or she's actually someone from space.

She doesn't seem to be his captor, and it's possible she is actually the one who will save him from an obsessed fan locking him inside with nothing but his instrument and sheets. "Thank you for saving me" Évariste expressed his gratitude. "I got a fan who has an obsession towards me, I was surprised they figured out to do this when I was asked to 'help them out for their project'. Only for me to end up trapping me in this concrete hell. I hope you are ok from getting through all the contraptions that 'fan' built."

Évariste gets his violin case and the scattered music sheets quickly before the "fan" will spot him, he followed Tabitha, bypassing all the traps set up by the "fan". They finally got outside the building, escaping the building was like an experience from a movie. Évariste thanked Tabitha again for saving him, "Good idea, let's get out of here fast", he replied to the question "Here are the directions where I'm from. I'll give some of my produce as a gratitude for saving me".

Enigma (Tabitha) CaeliGlori

Nuclear-Psychomagnet (brain farted extremely hard while writing this, hope it's alright)

She hated getting herself into these issues for no reason. Then again, she was commissioned the notion of being a ""private investigator"" in the first place, so it was mostly on herself as she made her way down the road. Dusky night, it was the general direction a band member reported where their lead violinist had been while approaching the abandoned home.

It seems like no one had lived here in decades. The exterior rotted away from the lack of maintenance, its door splintered and cracked. No force was need as Tabitha slowly opened it, her boots creaking against the floorboards until it mysteriously stopped. The beauty of having magic to mask your footsteps.

It can't be this easy. The petite woman began to inspect the old home to test her theory... till she brushed a wire as a makeshift booby trap swing launches a blade from the ceiling, narrowingly missing her. She was not immune from getting hurt, but she was not surprised.

Tabitha smirked a bit, "well, at least I get to do this." Straight up, she took off a boot, awkwardly holding it in her hand as she struggled to maintain the sheer imbalance from having only one show on and off. A dilemma she created, as the shoe she held glowed a soft gold as she tossed in onto the floor. A simple thud as the boot rolled onto a second wire... then almost like a circuit, it glitches to the location of other subsequent traps hidden.

The sound of mechanical springs, wood and other objects shoot from their hiding location, setting them off instantly. By then, the entire base floor was condemned, as she puts her boot back on. What a mess. Clearly Évariste was not in there, if so, she'd probably hear him scream perhaps.

She approached the basement, the only place she haven't touched. A typical last place to hide someone after all. The basement door was much different than the rest of the house: a fortified door, made with steel. She knocked a simple pattern on it, indicating that she, herself, was not the person who trapped Évariste here. "You in there?"

While faint, she could hear the goth's taps against the door on the other side. Cool, easy money. Checking to see if the door was safe to open, she encounters a rather bewildered yet eager Évariste, perhaps he was ready to go. Well, who wouldn't?

"Whoever your captor is, they are at least a couple thousand dollars in the red." The small woman looks up at the goth, eyeing the violin case and crumpled up music sheets on the floor, "I didn't see any utensils for organ harvesting... so I'm guessing you got a crazy simp on your hands who really likes your music... maybe? Who knows. Just watch your step when you walk up."

Approaching the outside, Tabitha takes in the moon, it felt good to be outside and touch some grass. "Now, how about we get out of here?"

@ np: I used all of my brain juice trying to write this, so I'll keep it short and say do whatever!

↓ (gasp they finally meet, follow up 👀)

Her nerves were in a twist, she wasn't feeling particularly well the last few days. Nor was this scenario helping her in the slightest. An attempt to rest at her home molded into her kidnapping, by this guy of all people. Tabitha was not amused in the slightest, blankingly looking up at the blond enigma while restrained.

Her boot began to fidget as she tapped her heel over and over against the marble floor, her expression seemed stalwart, yet perturbed at the same time. She really didn't want to be in this situation right now. "I can't believe your first idea to approach me was to kidnap me, of all things." Tabitha shot a firm gaze at Ren's celeste eyes before choosing to avoid eye contact.

"My connections with people is not your business." She crossed her legs together, returning her attention towards Ren as he displays a familiar string of pearls. "I simply know her. That's all you need to know. " The shortie gave a pensive expression, replaying something in her mind... before dispelling it rather quickly. "I don't like getting involved in games like these," as Tabitha shuffled her arms that were wrapped to the chair.

"If that's all you wanted to share to me, then let me go. I given all that is valuable of me. Anything else, I would have to be slain for that. I have nothing to lose, after all." A not-so-calm squint glimmered from her eye.

Ines zeta-male

hey Argal. you'll see how this is almost kind of relevant in a second but is there cars in Lacuna. can J drive. important questions here 🐎

The pop of a rifle preceded the thundering of hooves.

The shot missed, but, like, it's the thought that counts, right?

Riding a bulky piebald steed towards the men who were hauling J along, Ines unloaded two more rounds, one kicking up dust by their feet, the other finally catching one in the side. It's enough to make the one who wasn't shot drop J's arm and scatter back - and thank god for that, because Ines is hardly the best shot even when she wasn't riding at the pace she was, and J was frankly lucky she hadn't been hit.

The shot man stood his ground even as Saturday's massive hooves barreled towards him - and he realized the woman on the horse wasn't bluffing. He dropped and rolled as Ines took Saturday apace around J, the unfortunate sap managing to dodge all but one hoof, coming down to flatten his shoulder into earth. "Easy!" For a moment it sounded like Ines might have been reassuring J, but the word slowed Saturday down enough for the priest to extend a gloved hand down to her. She was breathless and a bit jittery - "Hi! Climb on." Just as soon as J was in the saddle behind her, reins flicked and Saturday went bolting, cycling back the way he came.

Bang - the man who still had both shoulder bones found his gun. It cracked again, and Ines yelped as it caught her shoulder, ripping through her jacket - and ricocheting off the iron beneath it. Ines peeked back behind her, then smiled at J. "There's some perks of- Oh, god!" She flinched down as another round flew past them. "Here," she said, taking the rifle in one hand and reins in the other, "take..." She thought a moment before making probably the very correct decision of handing the rifle to J and keeping the reins.

In the quiet between cracking gunshots, Ines called over her shoulder, "I'm sorry we had to meet like this." Bang. Ines still smiled whenever she looked back. "But we've got a little rule down in Wyawot - we don't let other sects interfere in our business. Even if our business is just a guest."

Here's 2 prompts for Ines but feel free to pick anyone you want to suffer lol + idm short responses :]

1. She has so many enemies (in her own church, in the church he defected from, and former residents of Wyawot Wells) and is so naive about it. Not unlikely she's walking off with the most obvious kidnapper pretending to be someone that needs help you've ever seen.

2. Her church is so haunted by ghosts who hate her specifically. She is kidnapped by ghosts please help her.

v grats!

Faust HardyLark

"My my, this is rather a predicament you've found yourself in, isn't it?" A voice rumbles from the darkness of the doorway to the hall nearby. From where Lux is sitting, tied to a chair, it wouldn't be hard to turn to look at the voice. There's little to see beyond the doorway, just empty darkness. Nothing physically lurks beyond it. Perhaps that would be good news to Lux.

Considering that his kidnappers had not quite come back would be a good thing. Considering that a disembodied voice had just come from that dark empty hallway was not so much a good thing. At least to most people, who's to say what it means to Lux. It's not that it stays empty much longer, a large round face fades into existence, eyes flicking over the restrained form of the investigator thoughtfully. A clawed hand pulls itself from the darkness and tips the battered top hat sitting on that unusual, feathered head. Somehow, the being smiles with it's beak as it steps into the room, ducking under the frame of the door to get through it.

Try as the chickcharney might, he didn't necessarily fit into the room either, still needing to crouch his legs to fit in the space without hitting his head on the ceiling. It doesn't seem to ruffle any feathers, least of all that Lux could see, as the unusual being shuffles further into the room and turns to regard him curiously.

"It's not often I see beings like yourself, you know... especially in places like this," Faust says with a hum, tilting his head at an angle unnatural to all, but perhaps an owl itself. "I had to take quite a detour to cross paths with you here, but... I think it is perhaps worth it?" The chickcharney muses, bringing a talon to his beak and tapping against it. His eyes flick to the bonds restraining the other, and he can't help but scoff a little as he looks.

"My, I've never seen a knot that poor in my life. I wouldn't be surprised if you gave it a tug it would come undone entirely. It's almost as if... ah!" Faust's face splits into an unnatural smile and a soft chuffing noise could be heard from his chest, almost like... laughter. Those eyes flick across Lux's face for answers and seeing none, the being simply chuckles again, "Oh how curious. Now I must know just why you're choosing to stick around, though I suspect you will not tell me so easily..."

For a moment, the owl-like creature is silent, contemplating before he lets his claws fall back to his side. "I've decided. You do not need to tell me, if I can witness it myself. I never get involved in these tales when they happen... I wonder what would happen if I did..."

I feel bad for any poor sucker that tries to kidnap Faust, that's a one-way trip to bad luck town. And we're talking, final destination kind of bad luck. Either way, Faust is known as a Boon Granter and would be kidnapped since he can "grant wishes".

Khadyon as-Vhalakis EternalNyx

Spoiler for gore

What luck would be worse than having one of the best intergalactic bounty hunters after you?

The thugs poked and prodded at the vagabond, who lie seated within the rickety chair, chained and bound in rust-laden links and an old padlock. His hat was set on the floor beside him, just out of his reach, and the fluorescent bulb lamp flickered and hummed with a droning frequency. The six others that the chickcarney found himself in the room with giggled and cackled in an annoying tone, obviously having indulged in other sickly vices that their bodies cried out for. Kindness and pity were at an interchange here, as the luck that would be to befall these people would be horribly awful, but justified as an equalizer.
"Hey, hey, hey, Mr. Owl Man... I wish for some money!" One thug demanded.
Another one came up shortly after, having a name tag as they clearly didn't care enough to get out of their uniform from work. It read Silas in big blocky red.
"Oh yeah, Potto? Well... I want a hot girl." They demanded in turn.
Soon enough, the thugs crowded around him, demanding him to make wishes left and right in almost unintelligible sputtering of word salad.
"I want to have some action tonight! I wish for some action!!" Silas hollered.
The room fell silent as the lamp flickered with a high frequency BZZT. Bad luck was upon them all, and the wish for some action easily construed...
"Wasn't Fennix the one guardin' the fusebox? Damn bastard's always flickin it on and off..." Potto spoke up.
"Boss... I'm right here." Fennix responded.
"...Shit. Boys! We may have an interloper here to steal away our ticket to infinite happiness-"
As they began to ready their weapons for a siege, the sounds of people being bested in the halls could be heard, the constant thumping of gunfire could be heard from the hallway. Something was going down.
"Silas! You stay with the owl, we'll go hold 'em off!" Potto called.
"Go! Hurry!" Silas returned, setting the base of a pistol against the merchant's shoulder, barrel pointed to the door.
As the thugs charged out into the doorway, they shut the door behind them...
Silence fell upon the room. Minutes passed, and no more thuds came from outside... Had they won?
Just then, the bulb flickered out, coating the room in a dark veil, and the door opened albeit sluggishly. A silhouetted outline of a figure stood in the doorway, light cascading in behind them... Blood pools barely were visible in the doorway. The sound of drops hitting the floor spoke volumes more than the figure actually did.
"...Boss? That you?" Silas reluctantly called.
A yellow dot found itself fixated on Silas' head, the vagabond could see the trail from where he sat.
"Back away from the peddler in the chair, NOW."
Silas raised his gun in defense, but the sound of a metal screech rang out into the room, followed by a clatter of something hitting the floor. He reluctantly backed up and raised his hands as the light flickered on... There she stood in the doorway, the action Silas had wished for, and Faust's ticket to the restored freedom they rightfully had before. A badge shone in the light, reading the name as-Vhalakis, and opposite it, Silas drew a second, smaller pistol.
"It's... Of course it's fucking Shar-"
With a second shot, Silas was silenced permanently, being reduced to something lying in the corner. The coroners could deal with him later.
The gun in her hands lowered to her side, before being put back in her vest. Blood, both hers and not, covered a majority of her clothes, creating an odd contrast to the green she wore beneath. She had not come through this fight unscathed, cuts, bruises, and even a few GSW's sat in non-vital parts of her body, yet still she stood.
She came over to the side of Faust, finally speaking, albeit pained and jagged.
"You're just who I was looking for... PD got a call about a missing merchant, said you were last seen being dragged here... And well, here we are. My patrol car is waiting out front for us."
She popped the old lock with relative ease, the chains came loose at last. Freedom was at hand, as she came back to Faust's front side, holding out to him his sacrosanct hat, untouched by the uncouth mess that lay around them.
"Sorry you had to witness that, let's get you home." She spoke.

@ NP: Khadyon being kidnapped is incredibly difficult to achieve, but it is very possible. She would most likely interrogated for information, either involving the Protectorate's or her client's identity and whereabouts, or just tormented as a form of revenge... She REALLY doesn't like being tied to a chair, and would be very thankful for your rescue or your help in preventing her kidnapping.
v RESPONSE v

Through every synapse rushed a feeling of burning, a sickening sensation... Whatever that liar gave her was not safe to digest, and it made all of her cuts and bruises feel worse than they already did. Despite how poorly the hempen rope was tied, the sheer delirium of this mystery drug pinned her into her seat. Oh how she wanted to move, yet she didn't feel like she could... At least it began to wear off, just a tad bit now, but by the time he was back... oh, he was in for a surprise.
Just then, the window shot open, and with the rustling of an all too familiar face, there was a slight shock in her eyes.
P-4076, Salem's once investigative genius turned pioneer sat upon the windowsill. The two were on a vacation, a small little trip to the beach for a day, when a supposed E-class (that's what P-4076 called him) came up and offered her a drink, It was a nice day, the shoreline was just glorious, and she was already three mint juleps in. What was a fourth going to do?
If she didn't already have a hangover, whatever that fucking con spiked it with gave her one that was ten times worse... it tasted like rat poison. Of course when she went to go remove the poison, she would be ambushed. Of course that E-class wasn't an E-class at all.
“Khady! What’d I tell you about talking to friendly notails that hide their letters?" P-4076 spoke out in a scolding concern.
"Not my fault I was already under the influence..." The hunter muttered.
With the collective sigh of the two, the drug began to fade. P-4076 muttered something that Khadyon couldn't hear, then rose her voice again to be heard.
“Hopefully the one that got you hasn’t done anything yet. Crusty and I are gonna find another way around, okay? Hold on tight. If you’ve regained enough strength, just kick ‘em in the shins. Us notails are built like twigs. =3”
Khadyon nodded her head, using her teeth to grab a concealed knife in her vest and drop it into her hands behind her.
"I'll see what I can do to snap these restraints... be careful, he's probably armed. Be very sneaky, and if he sees you, don't be afraid to have Crusty kick his ass."

P-4076 LocalSnowi

As Khadyon finds herself in a rather desolate room, she could hear rattling coming from the walls. A turn of the head would find the lightning-shaped antennae of a certain notail that she befriended in the strange town of Salem. P-4076 groans and heaves as she pushes herself up, weakly perching herself by the arms of the tiny window. “Khady! What’d I tell you about talking to friendly notails that hide their letters?” she scolds. Even with the smiling mask she always dons, the avikan can sense her worry underneath.

P-4076 gives an exasperated sigh, muttering, “Gods bless it, I had no idea that X-classes would be on this planet. This was gonna be a nice vacation.” She clears her throat before continuing, “Hopefully the one that got you hasn’t done anything yet. Crusty and I are gonna find another way around, okay? Hold on tight. If you’ve regained enough strength, just kick ‘em in the shins. Us notails are built like twigs. =3” And with that she hops out of view. Khadyon would be fine. Probably.

———

@np she is definitely weak enough to kidnap, but with shura, it would definitely be more probable since his danger detection could be useful

———

v Slightly incredulous, P-4076 pings back, “Damn, okay? I’d notail salute at you, but my hands are tied. =3”

(note: the notail salute is a sign of aggression that means “i hope you get sick and die”. it’s… it’s a dab

E-662 wickerbeastinabasket

You are maybe going to get help just be warned he talks a lot Honestly I don’t care if we’re the same species I don’t want to get in trouble so your on your own sorry 0w0 Np he talks a lot so he may drive his kidnappers to the point of insanity

 Bai Baisol

Bai approached E-662. It kinda looked like they were in trouble, until Bai had gotten closer and *truly* understood the situation. The poor lil' thing, she'd have thought, if it wasn't for the fact that whoever had in fact kidnapped them was currently lying on the floor, unresponsive. Guess E-662's words got the best of 'em, heh. Well, seems like they're fine on their on, so Bai will just leave em be.

Prompt thing(?) :
- Bai probably would get kidnapped by any of the many people that are on her trail after some of her.. murdery actions when it comes to her plans with stopping global warming at its source (and by that i mean shes going after the owners of every single billion-dollar company). she.. prolly wouldn't care so much since she knows she can just escape later, and will just take the time to mess with whoever kidnapped her :')

V THIS WAS GREAT omg, thank you!!!! :D
