If you haven’t played it, Don’t Starve is a survival game where all of the characters’ voices are instruments!
You can decide on an instrument for the above character however you want; wanna just go off the vibes they give off? Go ahead! Wanna read through their bio and decide on an instrument that matches their personality? Sounds great!! Does the character canonically play an instrument and you wanna go with that? I don’t blame you tbh! Wanna look for an instrument that sounds like the character’s voiceclaim, if they have one? Cool!! Just don’t be mean about it and there won’t be any issues!

His profile mentions that he's a quiet guy unless provoked. I think that a trumpet would fit! It's capable of doing both, but I think that, as a default, he would be a mezzo piano (meaning that his voice is soft, but not too quiet)!

To me, I feel like Aiden would be something like a bari sax. Yes, a bari sax. They're quite deep, but they're also a pretty quiet instrument, unless you scream into them. Aiden just gives me bari vibes.

Decker! I remember him! You know, for someone who is kind of lonely and just overall sort of depressive, an acoustic guitar rings out for me. For Decker specifically, I feel like it would be the more lower chords, like a rumble with a sometimes higher string. But higher strings would be really uncommon and only when he's having really emotional moments.
His design totally makes me think of a synthasizer or a drum machine. Both of these things remind me of EDM and night clubs as well as fun and a hyper night on the city streets. Chase's bio says that he's outgoing and friendly and ya gotta be outgoing and sociable to attend a rave! Plus he's from a big city. I think that a fast drum machine can kind of allude to the hustle and bustle. A drum machine can also be attributed to rap and hip-hop which is often associated with cities and graffiti aesthetics. I feel like those kind of vibes would work into his voice.
Zakka’s hyper personality makes me think that an instrument that is typically played fast would suit her! As such, I feel like a piccolo flute (the first instrument in this video) might suit her! I don’t think I’ve ever heard one being played slowly :y
I feel like Timmy would be like the cymbals! He is careless, and formerly craved adrenaline. I also read that he's good at standup comedy and likes arcades, so I associate those two with cymbals.

I could see a theremin if you would say that counts? Her personality strikes me as something that would match the light floaty whistle/buzz of the instrument! ;v; But it has lots of variation to really give extra layer and not just light and cute.
