MePhone6s have a really nice handwriting. Not the cursive kind, but something that is formatted really neatly like they were typed on a phone. All the letters are perfectly in line, and no letters overlapped with one another. It's something that she practiced on and took a pride in.

Now, a common thing for cats is that their taste buds aren't that great. They only have, like, a few hundred comepared to human's 9k. So my theory is that Mata can't actually taste the expensive food he gets that well and only wants it because he likes that people spend that much on him. In reality, he can't etll the difference between expensive and cheap food. However, in order to make sure he does get that good expensive stuff, he will sit in front of whoever is feeding him just glare at them to make sure he isn't tricked into getting the cheap food.
