What role would the above OC play in a video game?

Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!

Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:

  • I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
  • Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
  • If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
  • You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
  • NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
  • NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)

But how do I play?

  • Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
  • All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
  • Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"

Here's an example:

  • Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
  • Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.

Lynx immediately makes me think of RPG games so I think he would be very suitable as the ‘childhood rival’. He has the typical egotistical behavior that most rivals  have in RPGs against the main protagonist. His clothing also gives me a huge Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts vibe as well

In those story/visual novel type games her fun loving, feisty personality makes me think of her as like that friend character you meet early on who helps you make connections and build your main friend group early on in the story. Maybe you meet her at the bar or a party. I’m sorry if I’m reading her wrong but she gives me the impression of being a loyal friend who will have the MC’s back through thick and thin and be that party girl pal that will try to do something fun with you to cheer them if they’ve had a bad day.

That’s really cool !! I like that a whole lot actually

Just reading his bio, I can see him being the silent protagonist of a JRPG or something while Sheri is the ally that drags him into this crazy mess to begin with. If you try leaving an area you are not supposed to, Sheri will just be like "Aw, come on! It'll be fuuun~!"

Shane cryptocorvid

Being shy and childlike and due to his love of hiding, I could see him being the subject of an escort quest of some kind where the player finds him in a place that's quite scary for him- maybe somewhere crowded and super chaotic- and their job is to help him get back to a safe space of sorts. I could also see him as the protagonist of a puzzle type game for some reason? Maybe something themed around sewing and making toys.

BONECRUSHER NYAHILISM

shane would be the deuteragonist in a story-driven rpg! interspersed between major story beats in the main plot, there would be little sidequests you'd run trying to bring him and apple together, in turn making him more powerful. you could go through the entire game without doing any of these sidequests, but strengthening his connection with apple would make the game far, far easier by way of raising his stats faster than you could through simply level-grinding. he's not just relevant for these sidequests, though- he'd be your constant companion throughout the entire game, a sort of comic-relief character who shows more and more emotional depth to the player as time goes on. i can imagine him with quite a sizeable fanbase just for that, really.

I feel like she’d be a side character who doesn’t seem as important, but turns out she’s very important to the story of the game later on? Not sure how to explain it-

The quote on her profile reminds me of the type of character that’ll provide you with a place to rest/heal though.

vvv Yoo I could absolutely see what you wrote there! I totally agree, this even gives me more ideas for them :00 ty for the thoughts!

Fitzgerald (Human) kafkaesque

honestly.... None gives me major mini-boss energy?? they don't seem like the individual who'd work for their own facilities - given that they were intended as a test subject - but their "kick ass" attitude and readiness to cause destruction through their powers definitely makes me think that they'd be aligned with the antagonist. alternatively... their bio makes me think that morality isn't exactly something they'd care about too much, so I could see them kind of operating on their own whims as a chaotic neutral archetype - doing whatever the hell they want as long as they get something out of it.

furthermore, None's could be a twist villain in the fact that their appearance as a nun may fool others into thinking that they're a good, peaceful individual - only for their dark powers to come forth and wreak havoc; even then, that arc line may not be that major, and I feel like the twist would be considered fairly minor compared to the other plot elements due to the copious amounts of foreshadowing before said reveal.

finally, they make me think that they could be a side character with a mysterious backstory?? something about None's lack of expression and apparent mix between reservation and belligerence makes me think that they might be hiding something up their sleeve, though that "something" would definitely come forth as the plotline progresses. perhaps it could cement them as a certain alignment, or maybe it'd make them a bit more ambiguous as a character... :0c

   - VAPOR I AM WHEEZING I LOVE THIS SM...... that's definitely accurate for Fitzgerald and I love it..... he'd probably be so confused if anyone actually managed to complete his minigame given that he's a bitch who lives to spite people, but... alas.... I don't think he'd mind going down as a relatively hated character, because he likes the attention component at the very least. u_u
