What role would the above OC play in a video game?

Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!

Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:

  • I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
  • Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
  • If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
  • You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
  • NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
  • NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)

But how do I play?

  • Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
  • All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
  • Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"

Here's an example:

  • Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
  • Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.

ok ok stay with me here.

Žimer, but like, in one of those pixel style/old graphics horror games like FAITH or Sanatarium. maybe a secret-ending character, one you have to get with certain actions. or even just one that sets the tone, an NPC with a sprite that shocks the player at first, but quickly they grow familiar, or even comfortable, with that smile gazing into them through text boxes. i need to see this character in that pixel art style i am DYING to see it.

Litchi Baisol

I think Stormcloud could work great as an early-game mentor,, maybe quest-giver? from an RPG. He'd start out quite grumpy and not really eager to train the main cast/hero at first, but after taking some of his quests and going on more missions he'd start to become more friendly and open up more to them;; but maybe if you wanna go for a darker route he could have been the secret maybe-kinda-evil-mastermind that was behind, controlling each of the villains and the story itself

V YESSSSSSSS I LOVE THAT SO MUCH Omg
mmz is one of my favorite series of all time and zero is one of the biggest inspirations for litchi lol, tysm!

I'm thinking of the characters that you usually meet on your travels, while trying to find your next destination, and then there is some trouble around but you get saved by them in the end. I feel like your character would be the one to help then join the group, and is the kinda close combat kind of fighter that gives the team more of an advantage.

Trixie wouldn't be a boss, unless she was in a rhythm game specifically. She just reminds me of that. Also the fact that she's actually in a band, hah. Otherwise, I can see her as a store owner that sells stuff. Maybe she can sell instrument stuff for stat boosts?

oKAY so methinks vespertine wouldn't actually end up making an in person appearance, at least not until the mc is nearing the end of the story, likely in a rpg-style game centered around the dream realm. i think they'd end up being set up to be the main antagonist due to what she's done to the dream realm with the bad dreams n all, only for there to be some sort of twist ending where it's revealed to be someone else. at that point, i think perhaps they may be some sort of ally towards the mc, who'd likely be attempting to cleanse the dream realm of these nightmares, albeit likely after quite a bit of hesitance and convincing.

I would say your character would make appearances some from time to time maybe as a shop vendor or just appearing out of thin air to mess up with the mc! the mc wouldn't really pay him a lot of attention at the beginning just considering him a tad bit annoying, but through the progression of the game the mc sees Kaoru's name dropped, first from time to time but then the name starts appearing more and more, especially in redacted documents and such. Maybe at the end of the game the mc discovers that you oc was the mastermind controlling all the events they went through and tries to fight Kaoru, but is very unlikely they would win against your oc.
