Brandy really needed this break. Having an overseas vacation for the first time in years, she found herself melting into the chair of the library. How dangerous. But even still - Brandy was not used to being so relaxed - and found herself itching to be of service.
A sigh comes from the shelf behind her. Turning around, Brandy sees a young woman, seemingly stressed about the cart of books in front of her.
“Oh, is everything alright?”
A reply. “Of course dear, just… plenty of work to do. I suppose I wasn’t prepared when I had offered a helping hand to the librarian, but that’s all in the past. Nothing left to do but to go on.”
Brandy leaned further in, wondering who this woman was. Her garb was quite beautiful and eccentric - possibly even foreign. Despite their differences, Brandy found her to be a sort of kindred spirit. She too always offered a hand to others, unfortunately at the cost of her own wellbeing.
“Let me help then. I’d be happy to.”
Brandy found herself quite out of element, with the quiet lull of the library a stark contrast front her loud, bustling bar. It was awkward at first, but the silence soon became welcoming, especially with the kind glances the woman would give her everyone and then.
Brandy definitely needed this.
Brandy would probably want help with her pub! However, there are some rules to the bar (feel free to check her profile). Be mindful - shifts last all night, and fights can break out!!
