"In a way... I don't like being around you." Lukys admited with a weary look on his face. "It somehow makes me... feel bad.. I don't know how to describe it. You're just so cool and mysterious... and handsome and you always know what to say and you're all around just better than me." he said, slightly frustrated.
Lukys felt immediate regret after speaking what was on his mind. Why did he say that? He's usually not that bold. Ashamed, he looked to the ground. "I'm s-sorry..." he mumbled. "I guess... I'm just a little jealous." Who would've thought?
"I'd... I'd rather look up to you. I bet people have a lot of expectations of you, too... But you seem like.. you've got it all figured out. I can't help but admire that..." Although he was being genuine, the smile the half-elf gave Pheonix was undeniably stressed. Was that the right thing to say? Was that a good apology for what he thought was an emotional outburst earlier? Was he just making everything worse again?
"Huh?... I.. I'm not that-..." Lukys stammered nervously, but he was helpless against the womans hidden compliments. He could only fumble with his vest, as the red tint on his cheeks got stronger and stronger. Although he had dozens of reasons to dislike him on his mind, right off the bat, he recognized her words as a kind (albeit teasing) gesture. So he held back his protests. Surely there must be a way for him to show his appriciation and graditude to her.
"Th-thanks...? I think... I- I dunno... uhh!... Aaahh!..." Unfortunately, Caritas has left the poor boy completely overwhelmed.
