Have you wondered why they enjoy Thing A and why they don't like Thing C, or why Brand X is their favorite drink? Or perhaps you wanna ask what favorite band they like from their favorite music genres... or maybe the creator of the OC just like to put that object.
This is not limited to the OC's likes and dislikes from their profiles, it can be about why their favorite thing that was listed in their profile.
1. No NSFW. If your profile is mature locked (or hard mature locked), make sure you don't claim minor users, other wise they can't see your questions

Alkinoos likes riddles, situational puzzles, and mechanical puzzles (specifically puzzle boxes). Though, he might dabble with mathematical ones because of their brother wants them to learn more about math.

And for Alter? When ONE random thought, feeling, or whatever comes to his mind when he’s trying to sleep like his brain composed a song at 11 PM, he’d immediately get up and test it on his guitar, try out other things that pique his curiosity… and forgets about sleep too
Shiyuyu help it's funny how one of the dislikes is "sleep" for ravel and alter- OKAY but i am curious, are there reasons behind ravel's and alter's insomnia? what makes it hard for both to sleep?

man these are... pretty cheesy/j OKAY but favorite cheese? she's not quite sure! all of taste really good tbh, but perhaps mozzarella or blue cheese would be a bit of a fav! dishes containg cheese would spaghetti and grilled cheese! but really, anything [whether savory or sweet] taste REALLY good. hmm she's tried cheese out of tofu once and it's pretty good too! so far, the fella hasn't have a bad cheese exprience, just a bad tuna one lol.

when he was much younger, he drank a lot of energy drinks, particularly tropical fruit flavored ones. although he continues to drink them at athletic events and secretly still likes them, he is trying to replace them with coffee, in order to cut back on sugar and appear more sophisticated at work.
How he feel about the ocean, and favorite/least favorite aquatic animal?
strong mixed feelings, since he went from not being allowed near it to living in it, and then moved far away from any coastline. it makes him a little teary and deeply disturbed to think of the ocean because of what happened to all his worm relatives. favorite animal in general is probably anyone from the seahorse/dragon/pipefish family, favorite to eat are most decapods, least favorite probably orcas or jellies (scarey)
Favorite piercing he's ever got, and would he do it again if it didn't just heal closed?
nostril--he was too young to remember earlobes and the navel closed. there was a wild goose chase involved in finding someone to do it, and he has very carefully kept it open with a variety of retainers over the years. if it closed, he would probably find someone else to redo it because the first time was in a past life he does not want to revisit.
On a side note, does he have a favorite or least favorite body mod besides just piercings?
he was forcibly surgically and chemically modified as a child in order to make him look more normal. in order to recover from that, as a younger adult, he was fond of temp tattooing and hair coloring with herbs (a select few gallery images show him with red and purple hair streaks). there is another, but it's a spoiler!

I saw that Salamander is passionate about cooking, does he have any particular favourite things to cook?- Salamander is a huge fan of pan seared meats! Anything that results in the beautiful fond on the bottom of the pan, the sizzle of putting something in a hot skillet, it's his favorite thing.
Any favourite meals?- His favorite dish is chasseur poulet, a chicken and sauce dish.
Is there anything he cannot do, or just doesn't like to make in general?- He doesn't really make desserts or sweet things. Never really been his strong suit. There's also some cuisines that Sala just doesn't really know how to make, as he's only been trained in French classics.
How did he gain interest in cooking?- Salamander was made to learn a lot of sophisticated (or as he says, pretentious) subjects by his overbearing parents. They wanted a shining example of how high class and perfectly French they were, so a son with all the best qualities was the burden they put on my boy here. Cooking was one that he actually enjoyed and kept up with. It was something he felt was fun, he loved the sounds and smells of working in the kitchen, getting to experiment with new flavors and seasonings (which is something I love doing - grabbing whatever spices look fun at the moment and seeing how a chicken breast turns out with them instead of what's familiar is really fun!), and best of all, sharing food as a sort of love language to friends and those he cares for. Being a pyromancer also helps a tiny bit, as a small perk of pyrokinesisis detecting and controlling temperature inside an object. Not as helpful as being fireproof or shooting fireballs, but it's a worthy little footnote in the magic of the universe.

v I haven’t actually thought of that LOL but I imagine it’s something he decided to try on his own tbh, no influence from anyone else at all, really. Parents were definitely the kinds of people to be like drugs and smoking are evil‼️‼️ back when he was younger and all but he can do whatever he wants now. Tried it once when he was like 18 probably as some sort of thought that it could be a coping mechanism of sorts, but also because he was curious and wanted to so he probably also just like bought it off the street from someone because he couldn’t legally until 19 [the law here in Canada]. and then here he is now age 29 he likes it he’s having a great time

later when he began to learn more about chemistry he got inspired of how chemical reactions is basically the same thing but in a weird scientific way, which he has also had quite a love for kinda science and math fields in school; basically he finds chemical reactions and adding stuff together to get new stuff extremely interesting

Yes! I think he would indeed make more savory baked goods, but the sweeter varieties would most definitely go to his loved ones! Not that he dislikes sweets, they just are not really his thing and he just prefers more savory things.

v he didn't like animals first before liking rabbits because of he believes they're inefficient and impractical (and also something else) unless you train them (the irony goes over his head) they then were given a pet rabbit and it was kinda like how a dad and an animal goes he hated it at first before never leaving it alone. it is a wip though.

V To make it short (because I suck at explaining my oc lore), he once projected his trauma onto a cow and got attached to them because of that. Basically, he saw that the cow had little to no space where to move, which remained to him of when he was locked inside his creator's basement, for months, and went "she's just like me for real".
