The short, cat-like creature drew closer. He looked up at J in awe and excitement. His tail wagged absent-mindedly as he contemplated everything he knew about her. "OK, FIRST OF ALL, YOUR CURSED BLOOD SOUNDS REALLY COOL!! Your abilities and how you use them is so impressive. I would not want to be on the opposite end of your Wrath!! Though you were an outcast and treated like lowly scum, you showed those bozos a thing or two!" Satin was practically screaming his praise at J, as he is known to do. He took a breath before continuing his little rant. "Even though those people were such jerks to you you're still nice to people and that's really impressive. If I went through that, I'd kill people a lot more. I hope you can personally beat up everybody who ruined your life! Your eye looks really pretty too, I like the mix of color in it!" He smiled widely at J, hoping she'd take his words to heart. "Finally, I really appreciate how you treat people how they treat you. You're a loose cannon but only when someone else lights the fire." One of his ears twitched as he looked off into the distance. "Alright, I've got to get going now but just know you're the coolest person I know!" Satin walks off happily, tail still swaying in the wind.

The point of this thread is for the character you post as to give the OC above them some praise or compliments! It mirrors my other thread, where you as the user compliment an OC, but an IC option seemed fun as well. As with the other thread, your character's compliments can be about anything you can read in the above character's profile and their gallery! It also doesn't have to be about just one topic; your character can list everything they love about that character if that's what their heart desires c;

"Satin... Like them bedsheets?" Taka snorted. "Alright, okay. Names like that can be alright now'n then, I guess. I can work with that. Reminds me of my own bedsheets, comfy as hell. I like that, uh, fur thing ya got goin' on too." He gestured to Satin's fur. "I like the colors, the reds'n the yellows. Red's a good color. Probably my favorite."
It was abundantly clear that he was severely underestimating who he was talking to, nor did he feel threatened by him. Had he known, he might have included liking Satin's abilities and powers, probably trying to squeeze in his own deal with firearms.
"I've been over this," said Maribelle, "But I like you more than a lot of people."

Lem smiles, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he offers up his honeyed words. It's the truth, he thinks: it takes guts to face the end of the world head on- guts that most people lack entirely. Even though the demon is known for his flattery, it's uncommon for him to offer it to someone who he stands to gain little from... perhaps it's because he has the feeling that they're both cut from the same ruthlessly ambitious cloth. That in and of itself is praiseworthy, if you ask him- though it's not something he's willing to verbalize outright.
"If you continue walking the path you're on, I'm certain that you'll come out on top." ⭐
"Dismantling the monarchy all by yourself there, handsome?"
The line teeters between flirty and mocking, knowing and bluffing, gracious and threatening. It's made complete with a wide grin and the squint of an appreciative glance. He's made the first move on the chessboard, and anticipates Lem's reply.
