This is a question game specifically for talking about characters' physical appearances. Their outfit? Their hairstyle? Their scars? An accessory they always wear or a sword they always carry? You get the idea.

To help clarify what kinds of questions are allowed in this game, I've made a list of correct and incorrect examples! Hopefully this should help out anyone who's stuck thinking of a question!
Format example:
Person 1's post: Why does Spike have a necklace of house keys? Edit: Adder got the scar during a criminal job that went a little wrong.
Person 2's post: Where did Adder get that scar from?
You can post IC if you want the next person to question a specific character, or you can post OOC and let them pick for themselves. If you post IC, try to stick to characters that have something noteworthy in their designs - while there's nothing wrong with more plain characters, it can be hard to think of an interesting question about them.
-Rules-
1. Stick to the theme of the game. Your post must include at least one question related to the character's design. You are allowed to ask non-design questions as extras.
2. Don't be rude or passive-aggressive towards other people or their characters in any way.
3. Wait for at least 3 people to post before you go again (unless over 12 hours have passed since the last post, then it's fair game for anyone).
4. All characters must have at least one, SFW art piece. This means characters with no art, or only 18+/filtered art, cannot be posted. You are allowed to skip people if they have no art or only 18+/filtered art.
5. Please do not post the same character repeatedly. This is to lessen repetition of the game.
6. Do not skip people (unless they're breaking Rule 4). Even if the above user has blocked you, that is not valid reason for skipping them.
I actively monitor the thread for rule-breaking, but if you think I missed something, please PM me and let me know.
If you break rules: Depending on the severity of the situation, I may either PM you with a warning or immediately ban you from the game. Regardless of severity, you can be banned if you repeatedly break rules.

↓ thank you! Actually there's no meaning behind it, it's just facial markings that makes an Entity unique from one another. Design wise, I didn't have any inspiration for it, I only went for a pattern that will give him a "surreal and ethereal" vibe!
does the marking on the right side of dvergur's face have any significance, or is it there just because it looks nice?

nope, the rest of them is natural! they were born like that and bullied hard for it in their former clan but with time they've learnt how to own the look
You mention their nails are painted. Is there any other part of their patterns / coloration that's artificial? They've got an absolutely gorgeous design, by the way!

Valentin has such a cool design. I was wondering what their ethnicity is? Whats up w his hands... this is gonna sound weird as hell but like is that also sumn in any other parts of his body like feet or sumn LOL? Whats up with the bracelet on his right hand?
VV Youre so sweet omg tysm. For clothing it used to be mostly off pinterest. I would look at popular rockstars (cuz that's his style for the most part), and focus on things they wore such as accessories or types of pants, shoes etc. Occasionally my feed would show good outfits. For his cowboy au cuz I saw ur character has one haha its funny because I made these outfits in rdr2 on the main character and just put it on my oc. As of recently, the most recent one I will be doing a lot more is def fashion editorials. I look at brands like Vivienne Westwood (big nana fan here) or just general editorials, even some photos of runaway models. I take pieces of the outfits and accessories I like to put an outfit together. It rlly depends on the vibe of the drawing. Casual --> look at movies, shows, outfits on pinterest that fits the character (however that doesn't mean the outfit has to be boring the outfit should tell sumn about the character IMO!). Focus being clothes --> fashion editorials + runaway shows

TOTALLY FORGOT TO ANSWER THIS GRAHHH!!! (also you forgot to put an oc dude! /lh) omg thank you so much first of all and second i absolutely LOVE IT when people ask about his tattoos since I don't talk about them much!! ok first off with the halo. when he fell, his angel did break and overtime it did slowly start to deteriorate until there was nothing left and he grew horns hehe! okok now his tattoos
Mottoshi has 4 markings/tattoos (i hope im right... i made him LOLL) to start off the main one is on his left cheek! its a * type of symbol. This is his mark as a fallen, i never really made the design choice clear on how this works in my universe but to sum it up when an angel falls, they have a few chances to regain themselves for the sins they have committed. however if they cant fulfill this, they were like offically fallen and can never return to how they once were as an angel. thats when they get some sort of mark of shame representing that theyre a fallen angel. they are on more visible spots of your body like your face, neck, or hand for example. not all fallen markings look exactly like mottoshis but i like to think they follow the same concept!
Another marking he has is on his right bicep that is in the shape of a sandtimer with little geometric details. This is his mark as a guardian angel. like the fallen marking, designs may vary but they follow this general idea! he became a guardian quite recently, looking over a human named lan. he absolutely hates his job LOLLL
His third marking is right on his spine! it is a summoning circle from a pact he made with this gal right here. To sum it up, alisya is a human with immense amounts of spiritual energy, so much it could be harmful but she has no idea. she just lives her regular life until one day, she gets really hella bored and decides to summon a demon on impulse. instead, there was mottoshi since she kind of messed up. and then she messed up again and got transferred over to hell. the devil himself found her and decided to keep her for himself. if anyone were to obtain that much spiritual energy especially from a human it could be brutal. thats when mottoshi swooped in and took her back. they made a pact together so that whenever alisya needed him in a dire situation, he would come. she just has to say the word. these markings are matching and alisya has hers on the back of her neck! the design for this tattoo LOVES to change but for now, this is the idea i have for it!
Lastly and probs my fav, theres mottoshis actual tattoo (yes he has a real tattoo LOLL) back when he was an angel, he dated and eventually married a man named lopko! Lopko was mottoshis first and only friend and when they got married, they got tattoos instead of rings since they thought rings were boring and besides, they would last forever. this was permanent. The tattoo is on mottoshis torso in the shape of a little heart with devil horns! its his most prized possesion despite it being a mark on his body. lopko passed right as mottoshi fell so it feels like this tattoo like carries him with him in a way. LOVE EM! heres a view of the tattoo! (bro is no shirt in the pic so just lettin ya know!)
woww your guy is rlly cool! i kind of have two questions about mottoshi! I see that he used to have a halo, did he lose that because he fell or did something else happen to it? Also when did he get his tattoos? Did he have them done or did they simply appear after the events they represent? (aah i see! the halo is v interesting! also i thought that was how some of the tattoos/markings worked but it is funny that he has 1 actual one lol.)
oh good question! I'm going to put it in a spoiler block bc it's a bit gruesome but also my explanation might get long so I don't want to block up the forum!
His horns are a pretty touchy subject! He's a tiefling, but he was born in a kingdom that REALLY hates tieflings (mostly bc of their demonic connections) His parents were highly influential humans who seemed to have no connection to demons, but their ancestors made pacts with demons and that eventually manifested in their bloodline. so Aube was not treated well by his family. Eventually, they were discovered by an equally influential family and they fled the country, but on the way out they were discovered by some really radical townsfolk. His parents were killed and he was taken prisoner. They cut off his horns (kept as a trophy and to humiliate him) and his tongue (he spoke Infernal and they disliked that) and that's that. He's had to deal with the aftermath after escaping from them.
The mask is actually tied to the above! Sorry, this might be a lot of backstory but it all ties together for this. He spent a while on his own trying to survive and was eventually picked up by a "priest" who used his blood to summon the demon Aube has ties to. That demon spared him and tasked one of his underlings, named Onoj Koj Kiva, with taking care of Aube (because of an ongoing feud they have where he gives her awful tasks and she completes them to show him she's perfect (she nearly gave up on this one, but she's grown very attached to Aube. he considers her like a mother)). They were given sending stones, which they use to telepathically communicate since Aube can't speak. An added benefit, though, is that Kiva can use the stone to verbally speak for him. So, it's a bit convoluted but they manage it. Aube first started covering himself because of his appearance and the fear that ppl would repeat what had happened in the past, but it also helped ease any suspicion people might have about why a young boy either wasn't speaking when they could hear speech or had an adult woman's voice. When he turned about 15, he started a career as an adventurer/mercenary. That was easier to achieve when people thought he was an adult. He began to wear thicker clothing to fill out his figure, heighten that image, and tuck his tail under. he also wears shoes with thick soles and inlays to make him much taller (he is only 5'1", but he gets a delayed growth spurt at like 16-17 that gives him three inches and he is VERY happy about it). His mask is a part of this outfit, but it is also magic! It's a cowl of infinity, which means that if someone tries to take it off and Aube doesn't want them to, the mask will spawn a temporary duplicate that is removed instead. So he cannot be unmasked if he doesn't want to be. It gives him another layer of comfort.
So really long story short: his horns were removed bc of some assholes, and he wears the full-body armor to 1. hide that he's a tiefling 2. hide that he's a teenager 3. hide that he's a boy 4. hide his physical state. After his main story, he slowly gains confidence and feels safer and stops covering himself up. He also recovers his horns and tongue with magic, allowing him to become independent and slowly recover from his past trauma.
They look so cool! What happened to their horns? Why are tthey in a complete armor and owl mask in the second pic? :O

Since he is the seer, he get's future visions. And these future visions are only possible though the shapeshifting SALAMANDER deity Aarush! They guide him through these visions! Aarush, the salamander, needs a vessel basically to make their powers work! And because of their connection, Draskan decided for this tattoo!
Why did he choose to get a salamander tattoo?? Is there any significance? If not, that's okay, it suits him and looks cool anyway lol (edit: his lore seems so interesting I love tattoos that have meaning and his takes it to a whole other level lmao))
VV She's going to be deep blue, white and gold! Her head is fluff but it's shaped like a venetian mask and will probably be a different colour to the rest of her fur :) VV

1- originally he was a golden tiger but that was changed to fit with the clothes he wears in human form, his general vibe and of course to go with his wings
2- his horns are a reference to his true form where he is a little more dragon like, though originally it was just for the coolness so ill give you that lmao. His wings do have more thought put into them, wings in his universe are something only gods have and it shows their power, they are also raven wings which of course represents chaos aswell. He has a thing with ravens, they even follow him around, there's some silly doodles about it in his gallery I think

Is Dajack's coal, darker brown fur coat based on a specific variant (or fur coat color) of tiger, or based on any variant of cat or animal in specific?
Also, is there a specific reason for him to have horns and giant wings?
(It's okay if your answers to these are just because you thought they were cool coz... haha me too, with a lot of my kids it's like that)
(ALSO! I think its suuuper cool that his halo is directly based off of the actual chaos symbol... awesome!!)

Those are his glasses, largely just stylized so they might look odd! I've drawn him without his glasses, he tends to squint and look pretty exhausted without them (and his eyes look "normal" when they're off) because he can't see for shit if he doesn't have them on. As for his freckles, they're just freckles! Not paint! Just normal freckles :3
