What is the person above's trademark?

(Related threads: What are your trademark character archetypes, What Do You Like About The Above User's OCs?, ☀️ Say something nice about above user's art)

I often find that a lot of people have themes and signature elements across all their creations that make them identifiable as theirs. There are a few threads around where we get to talk about our own trademarks, but I think it'd also be cool to find out what makes your creations unique and recognisable to other people. You might even learn something you never noticed about your own work!

How to participate: Look through the person above's OCs and works, and tell them what you think their trademark is. How can you always tell that an OC/art/writing was created by them? What stands out about their work that makes it recognisable as theirs, and no one else's?

  • Themes and tropes that they're fond of?
  • Personality types and physical traits that a lot of their OCs share?
  • A recognisable art style?

More detail is always appreciated. You can talk about designs, art style, writing style, and even all of those at once!

Rules:

  • Focus on OC profiles, art, literature and designs. Less focus on details that haven't got much to do with their creative work, e.g. their online identity, icon, profile themes (unless they made them themselves), and posting habits.
  • You can still mention these, of course—just say something about the user's creations first.
  • This is a compliment thread so please be kind and don't take this as an opportunity to diss people!

Honestly, the way you build stories and how passionate you are about the very little details of your characters! Oh and outfits, I don't think I've ever seen a character have as an elaborate wardrobe as yours!

For characters, dogs! Most are college students with issues, or just normal dogs. The anatomy is simplistic, alot of square ish shapes. And for art, traditional drawings, usually with markers and pencils.

katy_pawz

a cartoony and silly art style as for both the art and characters!

Aerospiders

Pastel colored kawaii artwork (especially pink and purple) with a really fun, joyful and bubbly vibe! Along with cat characters, soft lineart, chibi anatomy, and anime styled eyes

apodoforcas

definitely your art style, and how it uses primarily less saturated/duller colors, plus a lot of intentional hatching and clean, crisp outlines; it’s very much an artstyle i could see in a nostalgic picture book which is what i definitely see as your trademark

Mutonian

Slice of life type things and lots of symbolism in marine biology. Fun stuff, really. I think it's a very you kind of thing to assign characters certain cetaceans. I'd also say your art style, but as a whole I think it's the general vibe of your characters- being people you could meet in real life yet they still manage to be interesting.

You seem very comfortable with an 80's Noir aesthetic since quite a few of your characters are wearing dusters and trilbies.

coalas

sharp lines and not very saturated colors (for most characters), fantasy elements and long, big hair~

BewareOfTheMenace

Sophisticated characters with outfits that makes them look like a bunch of rich aristocrats folks. The soft warm colors and the vibrant yet calm aesthetics too.

bridgette

traditional pen/pencil drawings with lots of expressiveness and personality to them…!! a lot of jokey funny stuff and ofc the occasional face pic

Your artstyle is very anime-esque. But there is something about the way you render that is so unique, like your art has an iridescent shine to it. You also seem to use effects a lot in your art like chromatic aberration and polka-dots to create an illusion of texture. Your colours are somehow soft yet vibrant, your shading somehow cell yet smooth. Honestly overall your art is so pretty oh gosh. As for your character designs, something about them all convey a very gracefully elegant vibe. Almost all are very humanoid in appearance, although (from what I have seen) many are not quite human. I also notice you seem to have a lot of white/pale hair designs.

your style seems like a mix of the "furry art style" and older storybooks to me. your lineart and anatomy seems the most unique? like the way u draw felines is rlly nice looking. plus ur art feels "soft" kind of? but you do switch it up a bit so sometimes its harsher.  characterwise you do seem to have a lot of "demon" like designs, dragons too! also seem like a big fantasy fan, and your characters make me go d&d (as someone who has never played d&d)
