This thread is basically very similar to https://toyhou.se/~forums/5865.forum-games/33525.praise-compliment-the-oc-above-you- except instead of praising an OC, you praise the user.
Rules:
1: You are allowed to compliment anyone about anything you like about the user above. This includes but is not limited to: art, profile, characters and worlds. Please don’t be a simpleton and just say a few words about them e.g. your hair looks nice, You art is good, I like your profile pic, ETC.
2: You are allowed to compliment the same user as many times as you want however, you cannot spam the same compliment to them because I would find that quite annoying if I just got the same compliment from the same guy every single time
3: Weather you know the user above or not, you can make your compliments as long as you want but as rule 1 says, don’t just say a few words. You can prevent this by explaining why you like something about the user above e.g. your hair looks nice because I love how smooth it looks and the colour really suits you as well!
4: Like every other thread that I have made, once you’ve made your comment, please do not comment again until two users comment or unless 24 hours have passed. If no one else comments by then, you may simply advertise something about yourself or simply say “bump”
5: Do not compliment yourself unless the situation from rule 4 occurs. Self-advertisement will be the only form of self-complimenting that I will be allowing on this thread.
6: If you are skipped, message me as soon as possible and I will either take action on the thread or I will share a compliment for you.
7: Offensive or negative comments about a user is an immediate ban from this thread regardless of the situation. This is a positive post that spreads positivity about our users so please just leave your s**t outside!
8: Just like with rule 6, if you do experience anything that you find mean, offensive or anything of the sort, then message me as soon as possible and I’ll let you know what happens from there.
9: If you wish to draw something for someone, go right ahead! Just as long as the receiver is okay with it and that you don’t draw anything about hate of any kind UNLESS this is asked for by the receiver!!! This is also a bannable offence and, depending on the severity of the hate, you could be banned from my future threads!!
10: You are allowed to post links outside of toyhouse although, as you probably know by now, this should not advertise hate of any kind. Yes, this is also a bannable offence from this thread and potentially, my future threads depending on the severity of the offence.
11: The only offences that will not get you a permenant ban are swearing, gore and nudity (DRAWINGS AND 18+ ONLY!!! ANYONE CAUGHT DRAWING GORE/NUDITY FOR MINORS WILL ONLY BE WARNED. REPEATED OFFENCES WILL BAN YOU FROM THE THREAD ONLY)
Examples of things that will never be accepted here include but are not limited to: Rasicm, Hate Crime, Threatening, Encouragement of Suicide or Murder or anything that involves the death of a living being, Bullying, Offensive Jokes.
I will be very, very strict with this so there’s no point taking chances in this thread.

Nice to see someone in Toyhouse who is also a Trad Artist. I know she only has few info but Tabitha feels like a relatable OC for me. Totally has that activist vibes and the part where she dislikes bigots and landlords. That's a plus for me, as well as you have causes linked in your profile in case someone in your area want to help out or donate to them.

I love your OC profiles. Their codes are all so well put together. I also like how you also have different types of said profiles. short ones, more in depth ones etc. The details really show how much effort you put into your characters. Which also. Their designs are always phenomenal. I love the house of phantoms designs, the goth punk aesthetic is chefs kiss

I've prolly told u this before but dude you have the coolest OCs man. There's nothing which rocks harder than seeing OCs which their owner really cares about, and the years and years and years of love u have for all of them shines all the way through in everything from their elaborate profiles to the refined way in which you write them--we love to see it. Speaking of writing, you're a shining star of the forum games!! I really enjoy seeing you around and I've had some really good chuckles tormenting our OCs together and I hope we can have more >:)

you're one of the best writers ive seen on toyhouse Point Blank Period, i regularly go back and read the reply you wrote for me because it was just That Good it made me do backflips and still does. literally showed it to other people because i was like 'look at this amazing thing someone wrote for lil ol me ahhhh'. you also have a really pleasant personality from the times i've seen you around and i just admire you in general. also you made heron so. what's not to like. additionally you drew yska which makes me cri because it turned out so beautifully i just want to eat that painting. beyond that tbh i almost reached out when you said you were looking for rp partners but i am a big ol baby and i was like "i am not a good enough writer for this omfg" SO yeah that's my thoughts

They're amazing! I love how you have these detailed beauties with fancy outfits and what-not, but you also have the stunningly horrific babs /pos! I've always wanted to try my paw at a more scary style so I'm kimda jealous fr.
You're really good at lighting and render as well! Like on of you more recent pieces with a person and behind them is this like red light. It invokes a sense of dread and fear. Like the piece is telling me, RUN. /very pos!
Overall, you have a really amazing style. Wicked and/or gorgeous designs with wonderful little details and lighting and perspective and skwbxldi...

I really like some of your character designs, such as Alanna and Kier!! I've seen them around forum games a bit and I couldn't help but take a long gaze at their designs and profiles (just to add Isla's 2nd formal outfit OHH it's so pretty, I love the sunset-like gradient used on the dress) @.@ Speaking of profiles, really loving some of the concepts/lore of some of your characters, such as the Morgue family (also Abigail's monochromatic themes? absolutely delicious), and once again Alanna (the dramatic irony between her and the passing of her husband lol)!
Your art also-- the pokemon designs you have are so good as well, even if they are bases, you color them so well :D The bright and shiny bits and highlights in each one really make them stand out from other designs I've seen. Your art has definitely improved a lot from the beginning of your portfolio, and not to mention you've improved very fast!

I've seen you grow as a writer, artist, and person since you first started. I feel like you've gotten a lot more comfortable with your writing, and I see you venture out into the lengthy games with good posts time to time. Even when you made mistakes you owned up to them, and that's a real rare thing. You've got a wholesome, slice-of-life style to your characters and world that I enjoy; makes me think of cartoons I enjoyed as a kid and even today.
You're a pretty humble person, I'd say. You're friendly and helpful, I appreciate that, and I also appreciate the help you've given to making sure the games' rules are followed lol
Ahaha HI So. From the get-go, I've always really admired all your characters and how well you nail each and every one. They all feel incredibly unique and lively. I've always appreciated how you breathe life into your characters in the games. You've been a huge inspiration to me, especially two years ago (I still can't believe it's been that long) when I first started dabbling in the IC games. I always appreciate how well you manage your games, especially since a good chunk of them have become so iconic! You're always a pleasure to interact with and you bring such fun to the games when you do hop in. I also will forever be grateful for your assistance in finishing my pokedex in Pokemon haha! It was a lot of fun to do that exchange with you and I still get a smile when I see those Pokemon hehe!

HI ok so like im a huge huge fan of your writing every time i see you write a reply in the forum games (whether that be to me or someone else) gets me so excited to read what you've come up with; especially with illanya. for her in particular, she really comes to mind when i think about well-loved ocs; you put a ton of thought into her character and it absolutely shows!!
as for yourself, you seem like a genuinely pretty sweet person; a bit hard to come by in some internet spaces nowadays, so i really do appreciate that warmness whenever it pops up. as a bit of a sidenote too, i see you're in college; that is really awesome to go and pursue a career you feel passionate about, and i salute everyone who balances the more social aspects of their life w/ education. godspeed and keep up the effort; i'm sure that it'll pay off for you very well!!
I've seen you a few times in forum games and I love the characters and stuff you use in responses. You have a very colorful cast of characters and you seem like a very creative person who loves their ocs dearly. The code on your page oozes with personality and I love the featured characters thingy! I saw them an I was like "hey I've seen these goobers before!" Your artstyle is unique and very charming. I love the thickness in your lines. I feel like I don't see that a lot very often but it really compliments your style!
I love the way your characters are organized with the pixel sprites. It shows your creativity and your love for final fantasy (I think that's final fantasy lol. I have never played that game) Overall I think you'd be a pretty cool person irl. I think you'd be a great person to talk to about ocs and video games!

Aww thank you. My friend occasionally writes stuff for profiles but I like to add a few things of my own or give them inspiration for ideas that may improvement on the character. Of course with permission. I usually try to work with them on an equal level since I know how much they love their characters, I wouldn't want to be a commanding bastard that did whatever in the hell I wanted. And yeah I've got a lot to catch up on as far as profiles go 😅 I usually like to keep the overall simple profiles but I also like coded ones because of the fact I can add pictures and stuff. And I like keeping things vague since me and my buddy's story is forever progressing so there's some things I cannot add due to it possibly creating spoilers or just complicating profiles
I didn't expect you to catch the colors on my ocs though. Usually I feel like people credit Jj since they drew it, but I also help with the chosen palettes. I'm glad you enjoyed Emmett and Abaddon's profile. I wrote most of Emmett's while my friend wrote everything about Abaddon in their notes app. We try to put in as much work as possible not only for ourselves but for others to enjoy. And I'm glad you found them interesting :) It means a lot to us
