PSA: Chocomisuu on DeviantArt

Apparently I'm not the only one this has happened to. There's been a lot of incidents with Chocomisuu. Here's some of the information I've received, leaving others involved anonymous:

Accounts: Chocomisuu / Jiumiingo. Deviantart: Chocomisuu, Jiumiingo Instagram: Jiumiingo Tumblr: Jiumiingo.

Excuses for not finishing commissions:

• Photoshop was broken
• They had no money for refunding
• They were busy 
• They lost their computer files
• The list was not 'up to date'

Proof Choco uses Sai for sketches-- not photoshop (Though they kept saying their photoshop broke which is what they use for colouring. Not my character)

Other incidents: Choco used to go by  jiumiingo (I used to have proof of this based on their instagram account having both names or something but I'd have to find it again jeoije sorry I lost the original PSA somewhere). They used to take commissions, never do them and then host more commissions to refund the ones they never did. They left tons of people hanging with no chance of getting refunds after they straight up abandoned the account.  [Testimonial] [666Meat's Evidence] 

They have done this to most of their commissioners [See here]

Hi! I'm the person who papertsubaki mentioned that got their sketches! In my case (and hopefully for others waiting too), they did finish my commissions!
I sent a PM asking for a refund if they haven't started on my commissions yet and they replied that they have wips for me. After sending me the wips, I did ask them to give me a time frame on when they think they'll finish the commissions, which was (and thank god, after waiting for months) only 2-3 days and they delivered within that time frame.
It was really a nerve wracking few months while waiting for the commissions though. But I guess I'm one of the lucky people who got their commissions! It's really a shame...their art is wonderful and I would have loved to order more because they did do such a good job with my commissions ;;;;;

Tuansy ahh I'm relieved that theres been at least a few people who were able to get things done w Chocomisuu

also sorry PaperTsubaki I thought I had sent a response but I didn't >.< anywho looks like they don't have their toyhouse anymore. I hope this gets around to them somehow, though

PaperTsubaki eadie Oh no!! That's really sad to hear ;;;; They never finished the sketch? I didn't know that only a really few people got their art like only one other person got theirs in our batch?
I hope that you and everyone else waiting for their art gets some kind of closure!

I'll post a link to our conversations, but basically I also ordered icon commissions from them back in October and haven't received anything. Even though she said she started on it before, there wasn't ever any WIPs or proof provided. I also got the same weird photoshop excuses even though their art program appears to be SAI. A lot of my messages got ignored in between these as well, I was lucky whenever she even opened mine and chose to respond. It's too late for me to file a claim, but hopefully there will be some kind of refunds or something in the future.

Tuansy I never got a sketch either. After the initial agreement on the comment section of the YCH, I never heard from her again. Mentally kicking myself for not knowing about PayPals refund TOS... But, hopefully, I'll be able to get in contact with her again. I don't even want my art anymore, either, I just want my money back.

kitsutea it seems like we're in the same boat of being unable to file a claim... ;; I just hope things can get sorted out for the both of us.
