I'm so sorry if this is poor formatting, I'm extremely emotional and I can't handle writing all of this again. Please read the twitlonger, it's so important. Don't buy from her, or even donate to her. She will not finish your art, or if she does she will guilt you about it. It's not a good buyer situation, her community is even worse honestly. Looking at the Twitlonger it disgusts me of how much money Ruth scammed out of you... I hope you are alright from all of this ;; , the situation sounds like a nightmare and Ruth definitely doesn't seem to be a good artist to work with at all, considering the sheer amount she scammed out of OP, over thousands dollars-

-spaceman- I just added her youtube!! thank you for that idea. I didn't even think about it because she rarely uses it. And yes, a lot of her older OC's did find a home with me, even if they were renamed and given new stories! She did have a big community on twitter, and a smaller one on discord. She's run through five or six discords in the past 4 years easily. Every time something bad happens she up and deletes them. It's so hard to get evidence because of that tbh.
VictoryDrawsManga It's been a rough situation for sure. I'm friends with two people specifically who also got scammed a lot of money. She is actually kind to them though, unlike me. I have no idea what I did to make her hate me so much, but it was like a switch flipped one day. It was so strange. Thank you for the report link, I didn't even think of doing that!

I also had a somewhat negative experience commissioning art of my gal Manon from them - it took almost a year for them to deliver and I had to threaten them with a chargeback to even get them started. It was.. beyond upsetting, as I had always been a massive fan of their art and their youtube speedpaints. Real shame. I hope you're able to get your money back - this is abhorrent.

Soleils This thread + twitter where I posted it have already given me more people that Ruth has scammed/taken forever to finish coms... It's crazy. Most of these people were ignored by Ruth so we didn't even know it was happening. It's so gross to see more people struggle to get art they paid for from her. Thanks for your support and I'm so glad you got your art ! ^^
sardiine oh wow, I had no idea she had been doing this all the way back in 2016... That's insane. My friends and I thought she only got really bad around 2018-2019. Thanks so much for showing me this thread!
Oh wow… I thought her not drawing my oc for emergency comms and deleting discord was just an honest mistake of her being overwhelmed 😰 good god. I’m so so sorry that happened to you! This is horrible behavior wow
BRUH I commissioned her back in April. I still haven’t gotten anything from her. This sucks. I’m sorry you had to deal with her as well.

SweetlySorbet I commissioned her early this year. I waited after a month of asking for a wip so I asked her that following month for a wip. She told me she would have one for me that following Monday. But she never delivered. I tried reaching out again recently but no response.So I got no reply and no art.
