How to make a sealestial
- Just go ahead!
- You can make only a humanoid form, only a feral form, or whatever you prefer!
- As long as you have fun, and don't use Sealestials to promote any sort of hate speech, you can make as many as you want!
- You're welcome to sell Sealestial designs, or, with the permission of the other species owner, crossbreed them with any other species as you please, too!
- All we ask is that you tag them 'sealestial' so we can see them! You're welcome to add them to the world, and we always appreciate a link back either to gutter or the Sealestial world.
So is there lore?
- In the barest sense - yes?
- We follow selkie rules here - if they take off their coat, they're human-shaped. If someone takes that coat, they're magically bound to that person, until they return it or the Sealestial can otherwise take it!
- As a show of devotion, they might gift their coat to a loved one! Sometimes, though, they're stolen...
- Much like a seal lives in the sea, a Sealestial lives in space! Similarly, planets are like beaches to them; like rocks in the sea, they have little landing spots on moons and asteroids where they rest. Of course, this isn't accounting for where they might follow someone who has their coat.
- That is to say: do as you please, and have fun with them!
