The Same Prompt Character Game

✨ Hello and welcome! ✨

This Art Game is a monthly opt-in character design game!

How it works: 

• Every month at the beginning of the month, I will post a new prompt for a character design! This may consist of a moodboard, a list of keywords (like blue, fox, and music box), a story, a character description, really any prompt that could make for a good character!
• You have until the end of the month to make a character based off of that month's prompt! This can be anything from just a sketch to a fully fledged character, all that's required is that the character has something to do with the prompt!
• All characters will belong to the person who made them, but can be added to a world that'll keep track of the OCs made for each month's prompt! These characters are like conceptual siblings to each other because they all were made off of the same prompt, but they're not actually related to each other, it's just a fun little collection of characters that have their source in common!

Rules!

• You can make them for any setting you want, your own original creation, a fan character, a child of pre-existing characters, whatever you like!
  • Only make closed species for this game if you have permission to do so, I am not responsible for anyone who decides to do so without permission, as none of the prompts will include closed or open species at any point in time.
  • You can also do a redesign of pre-existing OC or a new form of an OC!
• Please try to include as much of the prompt as you can! It can get conceptual (like you don't have to make a fox anthro/feral/furry or even a fox nekonomimi if the prompt has fox in it, you could include fox makeup, a sly personality, an orange/white color palette, etc!) or even super abstract (the prompt including the word blue but the character having no blue on them, instead just being depressed, playing the Blues, or being the child of a character NAMED blue) but you should have taken into consideration all of the parts of the prompt! Of course this rule will have a LOT of wiggle-room.
• Please respond IN-CHARACTER to the thread when you've finished the OC for the prompt! As a bonus, you can explain what choices you made to make the design!
• You do not own anyone else's OC from this game just because they have the same prompt, nor can you force other people into doing character interactions/relationships just because they share the same inspiration. Every OC is each creator's original creation, and the same respect should be put towards OCs made off of these prompts as any others.
• You shouldn't look at other people's OCs while making yours for the prompt! The whole point of the game is for you to interpret the prompt for yourself, and then see how other people interpreted differently than what you ended up with!
• Know there's a good chance there will be some similar concepts between the OCs made for this, so if you see something similar (like the prompt including fox, and multiple people make a nine-tailed fox OC, for example) it's likely just because the prompt was the same for all of them! Please don't yell at other people for including things similar to your OC in their OC for this prompt if the detail is just based off of the prompt!
• The above rule being said, if you see someone entirely copy or trace your OC for this game, let me know privately, and they'll be blacklisted. It has to be pretty obvious that they've copied the exact details of the character you've made, or direct and obvious tracing, but we don't support stealing people's OCs here. As a reminder: this is about YOUR interpretation of the prompt, not other people's.
• Obviously no AI. Also no dollmakers. Remember, this is an art game.
• Also obviously no bigotry. That's an automatic blacklist
• If it takes you longer than a month to finish the prompt, don't worry, just let me know and they'll still be added to the world folder for the month! You can go back and do previous prompts, but I'm still on the fence if they should be included or not if started after that month is over. I'm open to feedback about that, if it comes up later.
• You may also, if you like, make multiple characters for the same prompt.
