so i had come across the hunger games humanoid thread, and found out there were feral/anthro variations, but they'd both been abandoned a long time ago and the owner of the feral thread specifically seems to have gone inactive :( so after getting OP's blessing, i've made my own but for feral characters only.
other games: anthro, simple-shaped, duos
i'll be using this simulator here! originally i planned on using brantsteele's simulator instead as i have a lot of nostalgia with it, but the avatar uploading and limited pronoun options are a bit of an issue, so i've begrudgingly changed sites.
the premise is simple -- 24 characters battle in an arena. only one survives.
this game will be hosted monthly! however there won't be a specific date since iii... am not good with compromises. ^^''
just like the humanoid thread, the winner gets to recieve art pieces from every other participant! that's at least 23 drawings total! i might also make something, though this is depending on my motivation and it's not a guarantee.
CONTENT WARNING: stuff like self-die, murder, weapons, and a loooot of death, obviously.
(the actual game itself will be archived in a google slides presentation, so you can choose to not look through it if any of the above bother you in some way!)
6/3/2024 update: if you cannot draw the winner's character (be it that they're from a fandom you are uncomfortable with or any other personal reason) PLEASE let me know and DM the winner to draw a different character of theirs. no worries there!
4/6/2024 update: cbcs (character based characters) are not banned, but please submit them at your own risk.
THE RULES ⋆
DISCLAIMER: BY JOINING THIS GAME YOU AGREE TO MAKE ART OF THE WINNER'S SUBMITTED CHARACTER.
1. feral characters only! this should be pretty obvious. a little notice about this rule: characters that can be drawn both anthro and feral are allowed, but anthro only is not.
2. if you are 18+ and don't want minors viewing your profile or interacting with you, this thread is unfortunately not for you :( i am a minor myself and a lot of people joining probably are as well.
3. no nsfw. at ALL. doesn't matter if you're 18+. like i said, i am a minor and other participants might be, also. even if the winner is also an adult, i would prefer not to see NSFW art at all. doing this is an instant ban.
4. please only submit ONE character. self explanatory.
5. make sure the character you're submitting has a fullbody colored image in their gallery. it doesn't have to be drawn by you, but the person drawing your character will have a hard time doing so if they don't have a reference to go off of.
6. don't edit your post after sending it! this might confuse whoever's drawing your character (and myself!). make sure what you've sent is really what you want.
7. the time limit is two weeks after the winner is announced. send a DM my way if you need an extension. i will give you one more week in that case. if two weeks have passed and the art hasn't been delivered to the winner, i will contact you. if another week passes without any changes, you will be blacklisted until you send the art.
8. the art can be a sketch, a headshot, a bust, a fullbody... anything! just make sure it's colored. traditional art will have to either be scanned or have good enough lightning so it's actually discernable. only paper without lines is allowed.
9. if you wish to opt out, let me know BEFORE the game actually begins. if something came up or if you no longer want to participate, shoot me a DM and i'll sort things out.
10. if you win, you won't be able to join for at least one more game. this is to prevent someone from winning two or more times in a row. it's unlikely, but possible!
11. there is no "expectation" for what the art should look like. all people of all skill levels are allowed to join! if anyone belittles or harasses someone for their art, they will be immediately banned from the game.
12. you still have to make art for the winner even if they've blocked you or you've blocked them. if this is the case, either DM me instead of the winner when delivering your art, or you can choose to back out BEFORE the game begins.
13. AI "art" and bases/dollmakers are banned. art should be 100% original!
