Spur of the moment idea that I thought would be fun. Hopefully this isn't confusing, but basically draw the OC of the person above you, but you try to draw them in the style of the person above them.
Rules
- Because this is pretty experimental, the minimum that you need to draw at least a halfbody (waist up) and full color. Art doesn't have to be HQ but do put in effort.
- Give at least 3 characters for the person below you to choose from.
- Finish within a Month
- Be Respectful of the person whose style you are emulating. Understand that everyone is at different walks of their art journey.
- Also understand that claiming in this thread gives the person 2 spots below you permission to emulate your style.
- Use the art section from the person your emulating profile, or if they have preferred social media in the claim that they'd rather you use, for inspiration.
- Do Not Copy or Trace the art of the person you are emulating, get inspired by their art, notice the details, do they have thin line? thick lines? no lines? how do they color? eyes are the pathway to the soul, what do the eyes they draw look like? Do they draw super chibi-like, cartoony, anime, semi-realism, realism, etc.? Break down what you see and build it back up as you draw the character you claimed. Do what you can with the mediums available to you.
- If the person your emulating doesn't have example what your drawing (if you claimed a feral and they only draw humanoids, etc.) do your best to translate their style to what your drawing.
- when uploading the art you receive add the person whose style was emulated to the captions.
- edit in finished art or link to it once finished.
- Wait for at least 2 people before claiming again, you must finish before claiming again. (you)(x)(x)(you can claim again). (will lengthen the claim gap if this game picks up more, but it can't be less then this for obvious reasons)
- Breaking rules, being disrespectful, or not completing on time will get you banned.
How this will go
- Person A- (opening post)
- Person B- (first claim)
- Person C- Draws Person B's oc in Person A's style
- Person D- Draws Person C's oc in Person B's style
- And so on
Remember to respect each other, be encouraging to one another, and have fun! Try learning new things by stepping into someone else's shoes and drawing in a different styles. And maybe even learn somethings about your own style when others try it out.
Do your best, this is a learning process so don't feel like you have to be 100% perfect when trying out other's style (again just be respectful to them).
