I own reptiles and one of my ball pythons is very very sick (name is Beetle. Got her at Repticon 12/18/21). When I first bought her she had mites and throughout treatment started to slowly more and more lose weight. After this, she began to get wrinkly skin and a consistent stuck-shed problem. I have tried everything I can, and my family has been extremely low on money so taking her to a vet wasn't an option. Flash forward to today and she has lost a ton of weight (even me accidentally over-feeding her has done nothing). She puked so we had to make an emergency vet visit. We can't afford to know exactly what she has but the vet is almost certain she has had this illness and/or worms the entire time. Below are pictures I have provided of her from tonight. I need to have over $500 to help with this visit and the next one. I will answer questions and post more photos if needed.
11/30/22 - emergency vet visit. She gets her 1rst antibiotic shot
12/1/22 - had to throw out one of her hides (broken + vomit on it). I checked her heating pad and saw she needed a new one immediately. Soaked her for 20 mins in warm water
12/2/22 - bought her a new heating pad + thermometer (thank you guys for the money to do so!!). Soaked her again for 20 mins in warm water
12/3/22 - my parents bought her a new hide and a second thermometer. Gave Beetle her 2nd antibiotic shot and misted down her enclosure. The stuck shed is starting to come off!!
12/4/22 - did nothing to her that day. Just checked on her
12/5/22 - soaked her. Noticed a new thing on her (3rd photo at the top).
12/6/22 - left her alone but checked on her. Dots/rash/idk got less red and now is pinker. The pink color is spreading in areas. Gave her 3rd shot. Called the vet and have no new info on it :(
12/7/22 - checked on her but have not done anything else. Nothing back from the vet yet. I really hope I hear from them tomorrow!!
12/8/22 - left her alone most of the day and then picked her up for a quick minute to see her better. Still nothing back from the vet, the pink/red is spreading, and she has lost more weight. My mom is calling them again tomorrow.
