Nothing fancy but while I'm still working on 1 trade, I recently bought CSP and I'm needing some practice and inspiration to draw. So I thought why not offer some freebies when I can get around to them in between work.
Since this will all be experimental practice, I don't have samples other than asking you to look at my art gallery for an idea of my style. Can't promise if it'll be chibi, a bust shot, colored or not- I'm doing these for free!
Also this won't be first come first serve. I'll be picking characters that inspire me! So please just post your characters and I'll ping you if you're picked with the finished piece!!!
Few rules:
1: No anthro/full furry characters. Nothing against them, I just don't feel confident drawing them
2: No Mecha
3: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE JUST HAVE GOOD MANNERS. SAY THANK YOU, DONT JUST DROP YOUR CHARACTERS. BE NICE IN YOUR MESSAGE. We artists in the freebie thread are giving art for FREE. The least you can do is be like 'Hey thanks for the opportunity!' or something.
4: If I don't pick you, please don't get upset. this is something I'm offering for fun.
5: Detail is good. I love me some detail/pretty characters.
BIG RULE NUMBER 6:
These will take time. and by that I mean likely 2-4 weeks due to my work schedule and how I feel. My job is very strenuous on my hand and mental health and often times I just don't even have energy to grab my tablet. Please respect this.

This is Samael, he is a half blood demon, can be very sweet if you have patient. || Adella, very energetic and curious mermaid. || Kevan, ok this is basically a royal brat and he is bad, like... not sure I should speak here about it..... || Reese, just a young man trying to survive in a harsh world. || Candy, is a fallen angel which memory has been wiped.

Just a small update! My work week starts tomorrow so the rule six will start applying now! But please keep posting refs, I definitely have some ideas already when I have time to draw again! >v<
His basic story/background.... -For lowkey context I was adopted irl so this storyline hits home a bit- TW: mentions of gang violence
But he was young and dumb and had a kid young and he later finds her cuz she’s wearing the necklace he gave the adoption agency.
He tells her he’s not a good person but she doesn’t care cuz she’s always wanted to know what happened and why.
He doesn’t feel like he’s a good person because he’s part of a gang lead by an undercover cop so they ride the grey area of killing bad guys and not putting in jail. He doesn’t feel quite right doing it but doesn’t want to be numb either.
Kinda revolves around him balancing gang stuff and being in touch with his daughter.
He kinda wants to better himself too even tho he knows he can’t do anything for her at this point other than listen to her woes and success. They become each other’s emotional support.
he finds love again, loses it tragically and then finds it again at some point.
The story is in progress since I don’t have all the characters but that’s him!

You have such a pretty style ! I hope you find some lovely characters to practice with it’s always difficult when starting a new program but I know you’ll get the hang of it with practice 👍
