Loving the site so far! I'd personally love if the commissions/trade boards were split into human & animal or feral and anthro or something? I know a lot of people who only do humans and not animals or vice versa

Features I'm thinking about and welcome suggestions for:
- Anonymous comments (if I do throw this in you're still certainly going to have to be logged in so the recipient can report malicious content if necessary)
- Allowing for fandom/canon characters
- World chats - just mulling it over right now...
It would be convenient if we could upload one image to multiple characters at the same time, so that image didn't appear in the art gallery multiple times
I know you have "Downloading threads as a PDF/etc" on the list, but I feel like a great expansion of that feature would be to download your own character profiles as PDFs. I know I put a lot of info on my profiles, and I'd feel a lot better if I could have a way to save an offline copy of all that. This feature should only work for your own profiles though so random people don't download your character's information without your permission or whatever.

Okay so
I see that "folder icons and blurbs" is a thing that is planned to be implemented which is super rad. I'm assuming blurbs would refer to like, a description of what would be in the folder? So if I had one with a vage title or something I could put a short description of what exactly to expect in there?
Just want to make sure because I was just looking for something like this but couldn't find anything LOL.
The more I use the forums the more I really think a keyword search would be great too. Just a lil searchbar would be really good especially in the character trading board so if someone is looking for adopts by a certain artist or a closed species it'd be really helpful to see if anyone has anything up for trade or sell.

Inkcess We have something to try and work on that issue, but not necessarily what you've suggested.
TheLadyAnatola The problem with downloading a character profiles as PDFs is: what would it include? What format would it be? Would it be a static image kinda like a screenshot? Would it include all the images uploaded to the character gallery? I don't think we'll be doing anything along those lines any time soon but if you have any suggestions I'd like to hear them!
minsu I was thinking maybe it would have something kind of like a modified screenshot so it removes the navigation stuff and just leaves the profile info, but a regular screenshot might just do better since some premium profiles might integrate the navigation and sidebars differently. I don't think it needs to be too fancy since if someone wanted a really nice PDF of their profile info, they'd take the time to copy everything out and do it themselves. I was thinking this would be more practical than pretty for people who might have extensive profiles and don't want to copy paste all their profiles into individual backup documents (because that would be a pain for people like me that have hundreds of characters to do that for). If people really liked the feature it could be fancied up to better maintain the format, but for a start I think a simple button that just takes the profile screen and makes it into a PDF for you would be fine, since if you have extensive profiles taking the screenshots yourself and stitching them together in image files would be bothersome and could be very time consuming depending on a user's resources and profiles.
I don't think gallery downloading should be included unless profile and gallery downloading are two separate features. Maybe the profile download would leave out the gallery bar at the bottom of regular profiles if you'd prefer, and the gallery itself would have a download button to put everything in a zip folder. This too should be only for the owner so random people don't download your galleries, or maybe include such features on your authorized users if you want. Maybe the Links page could have a similar screenshot feature, since some of my characters have rather extensive link descriptions, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
i honestly have no idea what would be done about premium profiles since some of them are vastly different from the default profile. Suggestions from other users on the issue are totally welcomed of course if they are interested, but personally I'd be happy with even a barebones screenshot-to-PDF tool just to make creating backups for users more convenient if their profiles have a lot of info to transfer.
