this is also a shot in the dark because i have no idea if it could work?? but as for tagging characters in separate images, perhaps instead have a "character ping system" that relies on the ID of each character submission? so in order to easily link or ping a character to an individual image upload, either just have the person write in the description, or alongside the area that lists the artist, put a "featuring:" and in there you'd write for example, :id5712: to link the characters?

for the "featuring:" addition, i assume it'd be a little like adding to the descriptions of chars themselves and you can add however many characters are featured in the image. of course this sort of thing would only work for characters already on th, but ye <:3

I'm not sure how many other people would use this but I'd love if we could put a little blurb of text inside folders (maybe under the folder name somewhere?). My folders separate things more into biomes, so it'd be helpful for me to describe what kinds of characters will be found in each one.

ANOTHER SUGGESTION sgfgh i'm sorry i'm just full of them suddenly,

i realize that some approvals i've been asked to make are for characters that are marked private, and they have no icon which leaves me with honestly no clue what exactly i'm approving. i can't tell if they're mislabeling a character that might be drawn by someone else, or if by chance someone might be submitting a design plagiarized from mine that's claimed to be legit (unbeknownst to them). of course i'm not accusing anyone of anything since thankfully that hasn't been the case yet! but i really don't like that i can't even see what i'm approving?!

so my suggestion would to be to allow confirmed creators to view their designs, even if they're private. i understand if that's too privacy-breachy to allow, but yeah, it'd make things easier on me and others who are faced with the same issue without having to go back and forth asking what character is which :'D

groups?

As far as NSFW content, there's a way to tag images, but not actual text fields or characters (please, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm a derp sometimes).

Firstly, I think that having the option to flag an entire character as NSFW would be great.
Secondly, the ability to tag only text-based profile contents, such as a spoiler-type show/hide field, so people can safely browse the PG-13 aspects of the character without bumping into the NSFW (unless they want to).

Galleries within worlds sounds cool, suchas if someone makes a world for an RP group, instead of just having submitted characters and bulletins and forums.. how about a gallery feature too? Maybe.. if it can be implemented, for submissions of just artwork for the characters within the group, if that makes sense. sgjdkfsd

Ah I just wanted to let you know that the thumbnail watermarks work but when you click on them the watermark dosent show up >w< 

First I want to thank you for making this awesome site! I'm having so much fun getting to see everyone's characters, and I love the tools available for posting my own! I couldn't ask for a better place to show my characters! ♥

Anyway, I think I read everything on here, sorry if I missed it, but I don't think it's been mentioned before... Not something we would need anytime soon, or even ever, but I just thought would bring it up~ It would be nice to add an image to the folders we can put characters into~ I use mine for my worlds, so I would put a image that represents that world, if someone else did them by species, they could have an image to represent those~ Not sure if it's a silly idea, but I figured it was worth mentioning~ Thanks for taking the time to read~ : )

I had a great idea! I see some people putting their characters name like this   "Name [Species Name" but it looks messy because thats supposed to be their cute name slot right?
I wondered if it would be a possibility for an optional slot below the name, for species name? It would be smaller text and maybe a greyish color. Just an idea :3

beagalltach Oh, linking characters sounds pretty cool. I think we've got something similar in mind, but its kind of minor compared to the big features we're trying to get hammered out right now. Not sure about the featuring thing...will bring it up!

Re: privacy and character approvals, yeah, I will def. bring it up in staff chat.

Talross We've been getting a lot of questions about NSFW, so I think we'll add more features for that soon. A spoiler tag can be added through HTML/CSS, I think someone posted about it there - hopefully that'll do for now.

The only reason I don't want to use tags AT ALL right now, is because they hog up SO much of the top of my pages there, plus they aren't visible from the thumbnail of the characters. I understand not wanting to make things crowded, but something along the lines of below wouldn't take up tooo much space,

especially since it seems that thumbnails have set widths of about 200 pixels, cause I saw someone using 20x20 images as their character thumbnails, but they are still very wide boxes. Either way, I'll figure it out, this site is amazing ;U

I ask because we're probably not gonna change that in the future because global search is 99.99% going to be tag search.
