Uwe

He hadn't decided if he preferred being given no attention or all the attention, but he knew he was growing petulant. Perhaps he was hungry, or tired, or just felt like a child among the much older, much much taller men, and perhaps he was willing to capitalize on it. After all, they should be grateful - he was a witchfinder, tasked with bringing in any mages who weren't of the Order, and these two.... well, they had to fit the bill. He just wasn't because, well. Not because he was intimidated. Maybe because they'd been giving orders and he liked that. Possibly because he had no backup and didn't want to be kicked out of the shack.

He didn't think about what they could do to him, mostly because they hadn't done anything yet and he didn't have the very best of imaginations. Just that they had dangerous magic that should be locked up for their own safety, and the safety of the people he'd sworn to protect.

Al shouldn't be ignoring him now. That was rude.

Even if it was to help a woman. A woman he barely paid attention to, even when she touched him and vanished. He saw things scrawled in the wood but didn't pay it any mind. And then Al left. He left. Uwe did not approve.

When he finally ceased pouting, he left the shack, and did not see anyone or anything outside the ordinary. Well, then. No one important needed to know anything at all.
