Chapter 2

Joeseph takes a swig of an energy drink he was drinking. it did nothing, he just enjoyed the taste. He gestures with the can as he speeds down the highway at alarming speeds, "I haven't been to a proper synagogue in... many years.. Thank you for bringing me along."

Joeseph's poor colleague was gripping his coffee cup so hard his knuckles turned white, terrified at how Joeseph was driving. He nods, gasping, "N-Not a problem..."

Joeseph blinks as he speeds by a cop going the opposite way. He swears loudly in Croatian and slams on the brakes... A bit too late, however. The cop pull a U-turn and throws on their lights, driving behind Joeseph.

Joeseph groans and pulls over, reaching over to grab his wallet. He rubs his forehead, rolling down the window, startled as a familiar blonde cop walks up towards the window, "Hey there! What's the hurry, do your cookies need to come out of the oven?" Quinn pauses, doing a double take, "Oh, hey handsome! Fancy meeting you here."

Joeseph flushes, handing Quinn his license, "Good day, officer.. And yes, I realize how fast I was going."

Quinn smirks and leans on the car, crossing his ankles. He looks over Joeseph's license, "Joeseph, eh? Good to meet you properly, handsome..." He peers into the car, nodding at Wesley, "Who's that?"

Joeseph clears his throat, not wanting to explicitly say he was going to meet with a rabbi, he said instead, "Ah, he's a colleague of mine, we were going to meet with some other professor's

Quinn's eyes sparkled at that, thankful that Joeseph appeared single. He runs Joeseph's licence through the records, pausing slightly. His birth date should place him at about 75, but the man looked in his mid thirties. He dismissed it as a typo. He scribbled his number on a piece of paper and slides it behind Joeseph's licence as he hands it back to him, "You never been pulled over before, sneaky... I'll let you go with a warning... Slow down a little please? Also, seems to be a typo on your licence, you definitely don't look to be in your mid 70's..."

Joeseph pauses, peering at his licence. He was much older than 75, but apparently forgot to age himself down in paperwork recently, "Ah, I never noticed, thank you officer..." He notices the phone number, glancing up and about to ask him about it when he sees Quinn walk back to his car.

He runs the piece of paper through his fingers, slipping it into his wallet for now. He'll give him a call after meeting with the rabbi. He looks up sharply as Wesley laughs softly, "Looks like you got an admirer, Joeseph..." Joeseph's cheeks blush a bit as he rolls his eyes, "Oh shush... He's absolutely my type anyways."
