Christmas was fast approaching and while many of the rooms and hallways have already been decorated in ornaments of red, green, and gold, someone decided to do some last minute touch ups.

Chrysler grinned mischievously at his latest addition to the servant's break room. It may be small but the string it hangs from was long enough to make it noticeable. He folded the step ladder he used to hang the ornament. While taking it back to the closet he found it in, he heard a familiar voice echoing in the hallway. His grin grew wider, an idea forming in his head.

"Hey! Hey Jonathan!" He called, poking his head out in the hall and waving his arm as he saw his butler walking in his direction. "Come see what I put up in here!"

"Hmm?" The curious sound emitted from Jonathan's throat as he followed Chrysler inside. "But wasn't this room decorated a few weeks ago? What more did you add to it?"

"Take a look 'round and see for yourself, haha!" Chrysler threw his arms out and spun around the room. "Make sure you stand right there too, you'll see everything best!" He added, pointing to somewhere on the floor. Jonathan chuckled and glanced about to humor him.

The once modest break room was certainly more sparkly than it was previously, with more additions of tinsel on the furniture edges and twinkling lights gathered around the windows. Glittering wall decor hung in place of their plain counterparts, which were piled up messily on one corner of the floor. There were even a few lights hanging from the ceiling, which he was most impressed with out of Chrysler's work.

"You've certainly outdid yourself, young master," Jonathan smiled. "It's very apparent of your personal style here."

Chrysler stopped moving around and made a pout. "Will you drop that young master stuff already?" But this expression was quickly replaced by his usual grin as he walked back towards him. "But yeah I did a great job huh? Put up those ceiling stuff all by myself!" Chrysler's laugh filled the room.

Jonathan's eyes rolled playfully, making him look back up again. This time however, his eyes landed on a particular leafy green and white berried ornament hanging above their heads. He paused, just for a second.

"I'm assuming this one up here is also your doing?"

Chrysler's grin grew. "It's the best one here haha! I wanna see the look on the other servant's faces when they find themselves standing under this!" He rubbed his hands together as he wiggled his eyebrows, "'Cause you know what's supposed to happen when two people stand underneath the mistletoe!" His hands moved to rest on his hips. "'Course you don't have to kiss if you don't want to, but then it's no fun! Ain't it some sort of tradition anyway? Hahahaha, I kinda wanna see some of them kiss each other anyway!"

He is as childish as ever, Jonathan couldn't help thinking. Deciding to play along with him, he maintained his calm smile and adopted a teasing tone of voice. "Well, it is best to carry on such traditions, isn't it?" He asked, stepping closer towards Chrysler and reaching up to his face.

"H-huh…?"

Chrysler froze in place, unable to process what was happening. He felt Jonathan's hand brush the long ends of his bangs away from his face before gently cupping his cheek. His eyes widened as he came closer, his head then pulled slightly forward, lessening their distance.

The kiss, which barely lasted a second, landed on his other cheek.

As Jonathan pulled away he couldn't help but chuckle seeing Chrysler's bewildered expression. He smiled back at him, his calm demeanor unwavering. "Why do you look so surprised? By standing under the mistletoe with me, surely you should have seen it coming."

Chrysler covered his face with the back of his hand, eyes darting away in shyness. "I… I didn't think you'd really do it… e-even if it's not on the...er…."

It's rare to see him all flustered. Jonathan looked back at him with warmth in his eyes. He raised his hand towards him again, this time patting his shoulder.

"Merry Christmas, Chrysler."
