The Basics

 Name: Anima Una

Translation: Latin for "Joined Souls"

Description: Anima Una are special beings that are born directly from their "master's" hearts. This means that they are a part of their master, literally. They are a copy of a particular part of the person they came from. Such as the creative part, the paranoid part, or even the sad and depressing part. However, it should be known that what your anima una is capable of doesn't always reflect what the owner is capable of. For example, if a master enjoys singing and writing their own songs and want to channel that creativity into an anima una. Then the love for that creative side can manifest in the anima una having a great singing voice even if the master doesn't. Likewise, a master can be good at something even if their anima una is not. It all depends on what part is used to create them.

It should also be made known that just because an anima una is created from you, doesn't mean they will enjoy the company you provide. Anima una have their own will so they are free to do what they want. However, most will stick close to their masters regardless of their feelings for them because their lifespan is tied to them. If a master dies then so will his/her anima una. So the creature is more or less obligated to stay by their side to protect them or at least place them somewhere they are sure they will be protected if they choose to leave. This rule unfortunately only applies to the anima una itself. The creature's death in no way affects the master on a physical level. Some masters, if they were close with the anima una will try to recreate it after death. However, this will only create another form. The master can't control what that form looks like nor can they control whether that anima una will behave like the one that passed or if it will even be emotionally compatible with the master at all.

Another important factor is how many anima una a master can have. If all the elements of the magick are at hand then the spell can be performed whenever the master wishes to. However, just because they are anima una, doesn't mean they get along with one another either. So do it with caution.

Birth: Anima Una are born from the heart of a person. They are bore to this world by a single light emanating from the master's chest. From this light will appear a glass egg about the size of a football. Swirling inside this egg will be a rainbow smoke. This egg will hatch only when its master communes with it and calls out its name. To commune, the master must connect their mind, soul, and heart with the unformed being inside and hear its special song. Only then will the master's mind be able to give it a name. Once the name is given the egg will break apart and the smoke will form into the anima una. The anima una will appear as the current age of the master since they have been growing inside of them their whole life.

▶ Making OffspringThe anima una can indeed make offspring with other species. However that being will not be an anima una. They do not obtain any magick from that anima una parent. Instead any magick that exists will come from the other parent. If two anima una procreate the child in question won't be born with magick. The only thing the infant can get from the anima una parent is the animal parts. The offspring will also not be tied to the master and will age normally.
