Regale's Quest

It was a long night out hunting for Remina, and what a fateful night it was. Perhaps if she had know what was going to happen, she wouldn't have gone out at all. Not that it was a bad situation, but she was not the kind to embrace big surprises.

As she was walking back to her home, out of the corner of her eyes, Remina noticed movement and heard rustling in the bushes. Not sensing any danger, she curiously turned towards the noise and saw a familiar face emerging from the dark forest. Walking up to her was none other than the famous Regale himself! Stopping right in front of the steppe, the stallion looked at Remina like he had been searching for her all along, although this was their very first meeting.

«Good thing I ran into you here! I have a proposal to you. May I ask your name?»

What a weird encounter! The way he was talking almost sounded like he knew her, but that was not the case.

«M...me? I'm...Remina.»

«Remina! What a beautiful name. Listen, I know this is coming out of nowhere, but I have an exciting quest to offer and I think you would be perfect to take this job!»

A quest? For Regale? Well sure, if she'd known him before, but why would he ask her – a complete stranger – for help? Surely that must be a mistake. But somehow, he looks confident in his choice. What did the mare get herself into this time...
