In Bella, Velvet sings as main vocals. Bella was initially written about an old high school friend of Velvet’s who had let her beauty cause her trouble. The girl had been taken advantage of time after time, having to face adult realities far too early that inevitably lead to self-doubt and insecurity. Velvet expresses her longing for her friend's happiness and will suffer, compromise, and accept in order to fulfill that need.
