Nova - OC Questions

1. "Coffee. Whiskey."

2. "Umami. Meat is the best thing."

3. "Steak. Nothing beats a juicy steak after a long day of chasing your tail. Haha. I'm kidding."

4. "Dinner! Most important meal of the day. Only one I ever have time to eat."

5. "Not fond of sweets. Make me nauseous."

6. "Yes, I like spicy. The kind of spicy that burns your tongue for an hour."

7. "Oddly? Cats." 

8. "Just... Boxers. Do people wear more than that?..What kind of interview is this?"

9. "I like to sleep on my stomach. I usually take up a whole king sized bed like that, sprawled out." 

10. "Night owl. Or should I say Night wolf? Heh. Well, at night, I can see the stars. That's my favorite part of my day."

11. "I wake up easily, but am also a heavy sleeper? I sleep hard, but noises easily wake me up. Then i drop immediately back into REM."

12. "Do i have to stay at home? I go out in the rain anyways. Yes? Ok... I suppose i'd sit at home and read books. Or sleep."

13. "The smell of books, the way something smells when you first take it out of a box. I guess I like those old scents."

14. "No cologne, that makes me too easy to follow. I think I smell like coffee.. Maybe i should cut down."

15. "Showers. It's hard to get out of a bath, my fur gets.... Heavy."

16. "How good am I at cooking? Let's just say, I eat at a diner every day."

17. "My favorite time of the year is Winter. It's cold, and I can see the stars so well. Hey, did you know that during this time of year, in the evening, the Earth is facing the spiral arm of the galaxy. So the stars look a lot brighter."

18. "Christmas. I usually spend it alone these days, but I love seeing people be kind to one another. Even if it's superficial, it's still.. Uplifting."

19. "I prefer buying for others. Now to just find someone to buy a gift for..."

20. "I am 6'0. I like my height, lets me look over the crowds, usually."

21. "Instruments? Ah... I suppose I can play the piano. I haven't done it since... Well, ah. Since i was alive. I like the upbeat stuff, like Mozart. I want to play jazzy things, but I think that's better left to the professionals."

22. "I've been told I have a good voice for jazz, but I haven't really chased that idea. Sometimes I hum when i'm investigating, and I think that sounds pretty good!" *Tail wag*

23. "......No.... Heh, okay, yes. But if I don't talk to myself, who do I talk to? Detective work gets lonely. I used to think aloud around that cat... But, that's not important anymore. Sorry, I rambled. Next question?"

24. "I do like music. I wish I had more time to listen to it. I can generally listen to pretty much anything without an issue, but my favorite is the calmer things, like Jazz or maybe even that new genre... Lofi was it? That's pretty calming."

25. "Friends, huh? I can't say I make them easily. When I make a friend, it's important. There's depth. I feel that if you make friends easily, you undervalue the few you have. So... No. I don't."

26. "Who are you people? How did you even know my birthday?... I-I'm not crying. I don't even have tearducts!!"

27. "Favorite flower... That's a good question, I haven't ever really thought about it... I suppose my favorite is the Galaxy Flower. It's a type of Petunia."

28. "Jewelry isn't really my thing, if I'm being honest! When I wear it, I end up being hyper-aware of it because I don't want it to be damaged. Plus, it may put me in danger with the type of work I do. Others might grab onto it in a scuffle. Though, I do try to avoid those."

29. "If I have to wear jewelry, I suppose the only thing I would wear would be a wedding ring. But I'm not married yet, so... I guess we won't know."

30. "What does this mean? Er, I like to wear my detective coat, and I have a pocket watch. Does that count as fashion?"

31. "Underwear? Wh- am... I supposed to be wearing underwear? I feel like it would just bunch up with all of this fluff. I don't wear pants, either... Am... Am I considered naked???"

32. "Makeup? No, of course not. I have a skull for a face, it wouldn't look too good."

33. "I don't have nails. My fingers are actually just bone. Now, would I paint my bone?.... Still no."

34. "I have to say, I have never gotten a haircut. I do brush myself when I can find the time, though. My fur has gotten fluffier since... Well, since I passed."

35. "I used to! When I was alive, whistling was quite easy! Now... I don't have lips. I can make a psuedo-whistling noise if I put two fingers to my mouth, though! So, yes actually!"

36. "I used to braid my niece's long fur when she was a baby. But I haven't seen my family in..." Huh. "It's been a while."

37. "I can't think of anything I am afraid of anymore. I used to be afraid of the ocean because I didn't want to sink, but now... I don't actually have to breathe, so it doesn't matter if I sink. I actually went to the ocean recently. A fish swam  through my skull! A weird feeling..."

38. "Excuse me." *Pfft* "Hahahaha!"

39. "I *hate* getting sick! I hate it! It's exhausting, makes me feel weak and vulnerable, and prevents me from being productive. I have to say, I haven't gotten sick yet, since I passed. I'm hoping that it isn't a possibility now..."

40. "Blood? No. I've shed enough, and drawn enough, to not be afraid of it anymore. When I first started as a rookie officer, though, yes. It terrified me. I didn't want to imagine someone else putting me in a situation where I would lose any. I think I'd prefer that point of view, honestly."

41. "I am a Detective and a P.I on the side! Though, since I passed, I haven't done much detective work... I'm trying to figure some things out first."

42. "I love my occupation. Being a Detective and Private Investigator was always my dream growing up. I'm happy to be who I am."

43. "Creative... I suppose I am creative in more... Constructive ways? I am creative in terms of problem-solving."

44. "I am absolutely awful at drawing. Please don't ask me to draw."

45. "I carry my pocket watch, a high-tech magnifying glass, and I'm usually wearing my coat."

46. "I prefer the taste of Umami, meat, over anything, but sometimes I indulge in some dark chocolate."

47. "Usually cheap eats. I don't have time to sit down and dine somewhere fancy. I generally opt for the diner that lets me keep a tab in case I have to run, or a fast food place."

48. "I am actually pretty awful at swimming. I sink like a rock. The water builds up in my fur and makes it hard to stay above. Thankfully, I don't have to breathe anymore."

49. "I have a lot of scars. I got some cuts on my eyelids from when I was alive when I got in a fight with some no-good cats. Some bullet scars, some scratches and cuts here and there... I could tell you the story of all of them, but that would take too long!"

50. "My handwriting is alright. I'm pretty good at cursive, but I generally write pretty blocky. It's easier to read reports with blocky, clear handwriting. I'd like to say it's pretty neat. I try."
